These are working out good with 12v car wiring and repairs, especially if you use some heat shrink tubing over it. Soldering is optional. Use the crimper type shown in the picture and you will have a good strong connection.

This make for a clean connection and not big and bulky like the plastic covered butt connectors. I use the marine style 4:1 shrink tube to cover the connection and it makes a clean connection and will allow the wire to pass through a hole on a panel easier than a butt connector that has the plastic already covering the terminal. makes the job look professional and not a hack job.

Great item, don't need to solder wires anymore, these are just as strong - can't pull them apart with gloved hands! Saves time! And saves me from breathing in those toxic solder fumes!!!

Exactly what I needed to fix a Mr Coffee Maker with a blown thermal fuse. I couldn't de-solder the old one. Crimping was the best solution.

Didn’t think of it but you can’t solder thermal fuses. They blow with heat. Right there in the name and still missed it.

These worked great and are goood quality. I'm using them with heat shrink tubing. I don't like the bulky plastic over my butt connectors. I like the slimmer look with the tubing.
