Worked with EUFY Battery Power doorbell without original chime.
This worked with my EUFY Battery Power doorbell to maintain the battery charge at full level. [Note: existing doorbell did not have a chime mechanism as it was removed during remodeling. The steps below are only for this type of installation. Please refer to EUFY power installation instructions regarding an existing chime hookup.] After reading many chat/articles regarding the EUFY BP doorbell on what worked or didn't work I purchased this transformer along with Ring's Doorbell Resistor. [Note: transformer will require a plug-in receptacle.]NOTE: Review you-tube videos on how to use a volt meter to measure conductivity and voltage if you are not sure how to. If you feel uncomfortable then hire an electrician to install.NOTE: IF a doorbell chime is being used then you will not need the Ring Resistor but will need to install a jumper wire in the chime box as per the EUFY power installation instructions.NOTE: Please charge the EUFY Battery Power doorbell to its maximum level prior to hooking up the doorbell wires.1. Locate existing transformer and turn off power. Disconnect from power source and remove existing doorbell wires.2. Remove old doorbell button. Use a wire nut to connect both wires together. Check wire conductivity at the transformer location with a volt meter. If the meter indicates conductivity, then the wire is OK, if not it must be replaced with AWG 18 doorbell wire before proceeding.3. Plug in the transformer and use a volt meter to check voltage output to ensure transformer is working prior to proceeding. If no voltage then the transformer needs to be replaced. Unplug the transformer for power source.4. Attach the Ring Doorbell Resistor to one of the outer screw terminals. Plug the transformer back into the power source and use a volt meter to verify the resistor is good. IF voltage is OK then proceed, if not then replace the resistor. Unplug the transformer from power source. Attach both doorbell wires to the transformer: 1 wire to the resistor and the other doorbell wire to the other outer screw terminal. [This is an AC transformer so it doesn’t matter with outer screw you attach the wires too [middle screw is ground only]].5. Hook up the doorbell wires to the EUFY Doorbell wire terminal screws. [Note above about AC transformer regarding wire attachment.]6. Plug in the transformer into the power outlet. Check voltage at the doorbell terminals to confirm voltage and compare to previous voltage reading at the transformer [Note: voltage may vary due to length of doorbell wire creating resistance.]7. Check your EUFY app to verify the doorbell is receiving voltage [Note: green plug will show next to the battery strength]8. Install EUFY Battery Power doorbell into its cradle. Continue monitoring the EUFY app to verify batter power level is being maintained.

Reliable and Safe
My old doorbell with a camera (no longer being manufactured) and a custom transformer died. I decided to install a new basic doorbell without intercom or any frills BUT the old back closet hard wired transformer did not match voltage this doorbell required. After careful search amongst so many plug in transformers, I discovered this FEEKOON 16V 30 VA AC PLUG IN Doorbell Transformer. It has been functioning for about 10 months. It feels very normal to the touch and delivers the correct charge consistently. I am not only pleased BUT I am grateful that FEEKOON made this thing. It saved the day for me until I get to the new fangle bell and camera non-internet connected so I can see who is at my door. I recommend this FEEKOON once it meets your electrical specifications. This standard three prong transformer plugs into a grounded standard three hole US home socket. I am sure an actual electrician might have phrased it differently but I am just a happy typical DIYr.

Great product
Great product for powering doorbell cameras. I have installed tons of these and like that you can screw them in. Wish they were smaller though.

Works with Nest Wireless and mechanical doorbells
I really liked how simple and inexpensive this transformer made it to change my wireless Next doorbell/camera into a wired one. By doing so I am now able to have it ring an actual mechanical doorbell in my home as well as notify my on my phone and Alexa. Also, the wiring keeps the doorbell 100% charged at all times and ready to capture video. The wiring chart in the photos for the product are really all you need to know. Also, for those complaining about the size/weight please note that the tiny hole at the top is to allow you to utilize the faceplate's center screw to help keep it in place. I feel that the larger size of the housing also gives the unit more protection and internal air to dissipate heat.

Inexpensive alternative to high priced model train transformers.
UL listed with short circuit protection for a fraction of the cost of a Lionel/MTH transformer? What's not to like? These transformers output 18.5 VAC out of the box but under load fall within advertised specs and are safe to use with modern model locomotives. The output is fixed and is not variable like conventional transformers but for modern model trains that run on fixed AC voltage - these units fit the bill nicely without paying for a Name.

Disappointing Quality – Failed After Less Than Three Months
I purchased this doorbell transformer just a few months ago, and I'm really disappointed with its performance. After less than three months of use, it completely stopped functioning. I followed all the installation instructions carefully, and there were no signs of damage, yet it failed without warning.I would caution anyone considering this product, as it seems to be prone to defects. It's frustrating to have to deal with the hassle of returns and replacements for something that should last much longer. I recommend looking for a more reliable option
