Good economy hose pressure foam gun.
I picked this up because I have an off-road vehicle that sees a lot of use in saltwater marshes, farm fields, and the occasional backwoods trip. I regularly come home with saltwater MUD caked on my truck. It is a special gritty type of sand based mud that destroys paint and rusts the metal it scratches into. I wanted a foam gun to help release some of that grit from the surface of the paint before washing, but I didn't want one that required the use of a pressure washer as that's just one more thing I have to get out and put away complicating the process.Enter this foam gun.Overall it is compact, lightweight and seems to have a moderately durable construction.Materials are mid grade, with some higher grade things mixed in like the quick connect coupler on the front of the spray gun, which is surprisingly nice fit and finish. The guns soap capacity is on par with most foam cannon type guns.It arrived well packed, and mostly assembled, however you will need to tighten everything up and install the foam nozzle to the container.I tested it with some diluted dish soap (I did not want to dig out my car wash foam soap) and got a satisfying cloud of white foam, that lingered even in the sun, for a minute or two before sliding off. With the proper snow foam type soap it will surely perform well.Note: hose pressure style foam cannons are greatly dependent on good water pressure. If you are on a well with a weak pump, or have bad water pressure in general, you might want to get a pressure washer and a pressure washer style cannon vs this as it will not spray foam far enough with low line pressure. Finally, the cannon included the quick connects for between the gun and the tank, but it also included a DIFFERENT male quick connect in the bottom of the spray gun, but no corresponding female connection to put on a garden hose. I will simply thread my hose in, however, including the corresponding female quick connect for this connection would make more sense, as I have no idea what quick connect I could buy to fit it.

simple and works well enough
I don't clean cars often but I own some that I like to keep clean and sometimes mixing the wash and scrubbing the vehicle down can be a major pain but its great to just spray the top and scrub it down and work your way down with a foam cannon. switching from traditional wax to ceramic coatings was a huge jump forward for me but it required that I strip the wax from the car and get it very clean which is where having a foam cannon becomes essential for soaking vehicles down with heavy cleaner that will strip the wax off of everything. this has the ability to adjust the mix of cleaner to water ratio that works very well. the quick connecter is nice but I just left it out and hooked it straight to the hose. if you have a car that gets very dirty foam is the direction to go. it can allow you to soak down the dirt and break down all the oil and chemicals that build up on the outside of the car. this is a decent foam cannon and is pretty solid.Im very happy to have gotten this and excited to break it out more often.( side fun fact... some good dish soap and a "slip and slide" and use the foam cannon to lay down some super slick foam for extreme speed results and foam bubbles to let the kids run into)

It does spray foam , at a cost of way more soap than by hand.
I got this item and a jug of some wash n wax product, poured 1/4 of that jug into sprayer, it did not even fill it 1/4 of the way up, turned it on lowest setting, and sprayed suds over a 2010 Charger.Trying to be conservative as I could, I nearly used all the soap I had put into the sprayer. Now this may only be $2.50 worth of soap to spray my car, cheaper than a car wash, but I could have washed my car 10 times with the same amount of soap just using a bucket with a brush. And if I had filled up the jug and really lathered up the car, I did get a good covering with what I used, I know I could have used up $5, half the quart container, just to wash my car.So if you have a lot of soap to waste, or wish to torture your lawn if you chose to wash it over your lawn to avoid spraying dirt onto car doing it over dirt or gravel, nothing paved here, then this might be for you.For me, I cannot justify using so much soap just to wash my car, and will use a few ounces at most in a bucket and just mop the suds on with my car wash stick.

Works as expected!
After several uses, we remain happy with this Suds Lab F3 Car Cleaning Foam Gun. It has been easy to use and store. We haven't pulled out the power washer as often - which really takes longer to put away. We clean vehicles first thing in the morning when there's dew and dirt and grime come of easier. This foam gun produces a soft, soapy lather and adjustable flow rate gives good control over certain areas you want more or less soapy water going in to. Happy with this product!

Lots of foam. but the angle is too wide
i have a pressure washer version that works better, this makes lots of foam and makes applying soap easier than having to bring out a pressure washer. The only problem is that the spray pattern is way too wide. its almost 170 degrees so some of the soap ends up wasted, the only solution i found was to tape the end to it only sends it out the front. Just make sure you buy a foam ready detergent, not just any soap will work right.
