We had a bad feral cat problem in my neighborhood. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to just shoot them and be rid of them. This trap has helped me to capture enough feral cats alive for transplanting and so now the feral cat problems has been lessened quite a bit.Where are the cats transplanted to? I'm not sure of the specifics of the answer to that question. Where ever feral cats go when they die, that's where they've been transplanted to. Where ever that place is, I'm more than just a little bit sure that it's now overrun with feral cats.Cheers

This product worked great. I captured two raccoons under my deck in only three days. The instructions are a little confusing but you can figure them out from the picture.

It's lightweight and he catches raccoons

This trap is easy to put together and set, made of quality materials, and is effective for larger animals. Normally I use them to keep raccoons and opossums away from our chickens but this would be big enough for a coyote if needed.

The trap is listed for squirrels, but it will not hold most, if any, squirrels, and certainly not the common squirrels I've tried to trap. The advertisement did not list mesh size - actually of vital importance. The trap is composed of three different mesh sizes, so it is impossible to tell by the picture what the mesh size is and how small an animal can get out. The relevant largest mesh size is 1 inch x 2 inches. For a squirrel, this is a doorway, not an impediment. Why not just use the smallest mesh size throughout? That would have been fine. As it is, the claims of the listing lead me to buy something that will not do what was claimed, or what I needed it for.The carboard package, and metal contents, also was received bent in the middle at about a 90 degree angle, needing a force greater than 200 lbs during shipping to bend the metal contents (my entire 210 lb body weight could not bring it back to straight), The force needed to bend it was also sufficient to rupture all the nylon zip ties the manufacturer used to hold the parts together during shipping, which is saying a lot since I can never break nylon zip ties by hand. The delivery person, of course, saw the package was severely bent, just dropped it off at the doorstep incognito, and scrammed.

This is a very large trap and its trigger mechanism is not at all sensitive. I have had to readjust the hook a couple of times so that it is sensitive but not too sensitive

Easy to set up, easy to use. Just put some bait in it and wait. I got the raccoon sized trap and it works perfectly. I've caught 3 coons, and a possum in 4 nights. All you have to do is turn it over, the door opens, and the critter is at its new territory!
