Q: What's the difference between the 16/10 sauce and the 12/10 sauce?

16/10 has double the scorpion chillie of regular 12/10 so it's twice as hot but with the same flavour base.

Q: is the cap supposed to be easy to twist off? The cap seems to be already popped from pasteurization.

it’s not difficult to open. I always push on center of bottle cap prior to opening a new bottle. The cap will make a popping noise once the seal is broken. I’ve never received an open bottle / broken seal from Bunster.

Q: Who pays $25 for a cup of hot sauce?

I bought both this and the 12/10 version. When I run out I might do it again. I'm a spicy aficionado. I like flavour and heat, not just capcaisin crystals on my food. I have been called Chef and have made my own hot sauce from peppers in my yard. I am a business owner and understand that there are more costs than just imported peppers in making a venture viable, especially for a niche audience.

Q: The experation date is in a month and a half. Why?

My only guess is that maybe no added preservative...it doesn’t have as long of shelve life; however, I had eaten it way past the suggested BEST BEFORE DATE and they’re still fine. I kept it in the fridge after open and it tasted just fine to me. It’ll take a lot of serious bacteria to spoil this particular sauce. Cheers and Bon appetite!!
