Does the job, and it is well made!
Holdsmy big Mac Book Pro securely, and the extra "slot" for tablet or phone is a plus.I was concerned that heavier laptops would topple over, but that is not the case.The backwards angle of the stand keeps things secure. Nice, and simple stand.

Great Product! However...
Solid product, would have been of great use. However, couldn't fit my iPad Pro with the case on it. May be slightly over priced, but hard to find a company that provides great quality like this and at this price point. Would highly recommend if you could get on sale, just know you may not have the ability to use it depending on what case you have on your devices.

I love everything Satechi
All there products work great and I love. I have a few different products and wanted this to hold my ipad so that it doesn't just sit around on my desk and it works great and looks great.

Great dock / stand -- holds up my old 16 inch MBP well
This dock looks small, but it is very well made. The padding for the laptop in the slots are firm and thick. Notice how I can even fit my heavy older generation MBP 16 inch in the back slot. Compare to the empty stand in the photo -- that one was too narrow.Well made and recommended.

Front slot is too narrow to hold a phone or small tablet with a case
Great finish and aesthetically pleasing. The rear slot holds a MacBook Pro or iPad Pro with a Magic Keyboard. All is good until I use the front slot.The front slot is too narrow to hold my iPhone with a case. I use a low profile Mous case, so it isn’t bulky. Probably slimmer than an Otterbox Commuter Series. It also is too narrow to hold an iPad Mini with a ZUGU case.A lesser issue is the width of the stand is juuuuuust wide enough that it doesn’t topple with the weight of a 16” MacBook. It would probably be more stable if the laptop were held at a 90 degree angle. But it holds the computer at a slightly canted angle. Not ideal.Another note is that the bottom is not ported so it blocks some of the cooling the vents if the laptop is placed right side up, which it really should be.
