LIVING PROOFPerfect hair Day In-Shower Styler

My hair is naturally stick straight, but now permed for a welcomed change!! I love wash and air dry styles, and living in the coastal south frizz is real! I love this product. After I finish my shower (using this product) and dress, I sit outside or take the dog around the block. Wheny hair is dry, or almost so, I turn my head upside down and gently run my fingers along my scalp without raking into my length/curls. This breaks it up off of my scalp. It then has nice volume. It really is perfect. My hair has nice curls (I don't know why they says it's best for straight or wavy hair) and super soft. Photos are after sleeping on it, and I put it in a ponytail at night, so it's smashed at the top. The lower half and underneath are almost as good as the day I did it. Today I'll spritz it with a water bottle or a curl revitalizer (unfortunately, most curl revitilizers make my hair crunchy and I really don't like that).

This product is amazing for wavy hair. I don’t need to put anything else in to tame frizz and keep the wave/curl pattern if you follow the directions. Hair never feels sticky, but soft and natural after hair dried. Doesn’t always hold overnight but hair still looks and behaves fine, albeit was defined.

I have stick straight Asian hair that is nearly to my waist. Styling products were never my thing because I disliked the hard/greasy/unnatural feel in my hair. I came across a recommendation for this Perfect Hair Day in shower styler and did some review research. Everything I read sounded like exactly what I wanted from a styling product, but I was still skeptical about it's effectiveness on my hair, which doesn't like to hold curls. $30 was more than I wanted to spend on something untested, but I bit the bullet.I shampooed and conditioned as usual, then applied some to my hair (a moderate amount because it's very long, but also very fine/thin), then rinsed it out using a reviewer's recommendation (with 1 small pitcher of water like the kind for rinsing babies during a bath). After that, just towel dry and air dry with my hair in a bun. It does take longer for my hair to dry, which I expected from other reviews.Next morning the bun came down and my hair was wavy. It was also still lightly damp, but dried quickly once it was no longer up. It didn't feel like any product was applied, other than the scent of the styler, which was subtle and lovely. The curls held till my next washing, and since in shampoo only twice a week that meant I had effortless curls for 3 days. Unbelievable. Any time things got a little frizzy I would mist my hair with water and put it in a bun again for a few hours. Boom.For Christmas this year I am gifting a few of these to my wavy-haired friends.Knocked a star off for the price vs amount of product. I won't use it everyday, but if you have curly or wavy hair and come to depend on it, that can add up.

The product does what it claims. I use approximately 1 tablespoon size and rub it in my damp hair as it says in the instructions. I let it air dry, and I get wonderful, voluminous, soft hair with beautiful waves. The product leaves my hair smelling divine too; I love the floral smell. I've received many compliments on my hair; my co-workers have asked me many times what I've been using. I share with them my secrete. My waves are not the perfect beach waves you may see on the models; nonetheless, they are appealing, appealing enough for others to compliment. I bought the small 2oz size because I didn't know what I was going to expect. I finished the product and have now ordered two 5oz tubes of the product. In addition, I have ordered two other Living Proof products to try them out: T.B.D. Multi-Tasking Styler and Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 Styling TreatmentI've noticed when I use the In-Shower product my hair takes longer to dry. It might be a combination, the product and the length of my hair that it takes longer to dry. It's worth it. This product allows me to give my hair a break from the hot irons and the hair drying. I wash my hair every other day, after sleeping on it, the waves are still in my hair but they are looser and still stylish. All I have to do is shake my hair, and finger comb it, and it is styled. The product does not leave my hair oily nor greasy. For reference, my hair is midlength, dry, and my hairdresser says it's coarse.

Looks good at first but then makes my hair too "dirty" and I have to wash again much sooner

I used to use Aussie Scrunch spray to get waves and curls but it ALWAYS makes my hair crunchy or super heavy with product to the point where I couldn't brush it and straighten it the next day.. Perfect Hair Day is a game changer! Not only does it have a super awesome name.. Living Proof indeed, PhD (perfect hair day).. but it lives up to it's name.. The day after I bought it, I woke up late and forgot to use it in the shower. I didn't want to get back in to use it so I put a tiny bit on my hands and scrunched it in my hair. I threw my hair up and ran out the door. Two hours later I let my hair down and oh em gee... it was so incredibly soft and light and most importantly.. WAVY!! I have used it in the shower but I don't like the results as much. I feel I have to use much more product and I don't know how much to rinse out.. it says lightly rinse.. but does that mean just stuck your head under real quick? my hair was more frizzy wavy.. I'm convinced it's user error on my part. I use it after the shower (tiny bit) and I absolutely love the results! it's an incredible product regardless of how you use it. Well worth the price.
