This adapter does allow charging a USB-C iPad or iPhone, but only using a Lightning cable with USB-A at the charger end. It does not work using a Lightning cable with USB-C at the charger end (as mentioned rather unclearly in the product description).The behavior is exactly the same with a Pixel 7. So there is no significant difference between iPad/iPhone and Android compatibility (contrary to the product description).(The underlying issue is that this adapter is just a dumb wiring passthrough, and does not provide the circuitry needed for a USB-C charger to operate correctly. USB-A chargers work without this circuitry.)Bottom line: if your Lightning cable has a rectangular USB-A connector at the other end, this adapter will let it charge a USB-C device (at USB-A speed, of course), whether it's Apple or Android.

It appears to be working for what I need. I have an iPhone SE (latest generation) and I recently found an iWalk power cell charger. The iPhone needs a male lightning cable, and the power cell needs a male USB-C cable (which I don't have). Now I can use the iPhone charger and cord to charge the power cell, and since the power cell has pass-through charging I can actually charge both at the same time.This is my first time charging the iWalk power cell. It's charging very slowly -- a couple of hours and has only moved up 25%. My guess is that's either the power cell or my relatively low voltage older wall charger cube. I don't think I can blame that on these cable adapters.Also, all 3 appear to be working, and all 3 fit on all of the iPhone lightning cables that I have tried. Snug fit, but I don't have to worry about the cable slipping out of the adapter.

I bought this to use my new iPhone 15 with CarPlay in my car. It works perfectly my existing USB-A to Lightning cable that I have in my car - just like it did with my previous iPhone 12.As per the other reviews, make sure the cable you are using this with is the type with USB-A on the other end. It doesn't work with cables that have USB-C on the other end.

I find the 3 pack of Lightning Femal to USB-C Male adapters to be very good. I am using them to allow me to use a Lightning L ION battery pack with both an iPad mini and a Samsung Android phone. The Samsung phone charging is not very fast, but that is due to the output of the battery pack, not a limitation of the adapter.The same is true of the iPad mini without the adapter.I was also able to transfer data using the adapter, and the speed was the same as with the original cable the iPad mini came with, so the adapter does not limit the data transfer speed for my situation which is great!The adapters appear to be solidly made, but I can tell they could be bent if someone tried to. I will be monitoring the adapter use with the Samsung phone and external battery as the adapter has some stress on it to hold the battery in place when it is attached, and the angle is not quite level.The few times, there has been no noticeable issues with the strength of the adapter, and since there are 3, I believe I will have many times I will be able to use them.I would recommend these to friends.

So far it works well with a iPhone 15 Pro.
