Works well. Very basic as it should be made. Filter is easy to clean and sturdy. Having an interchangeable battery makes it worth the price. Buying a hand held that you have to trash when battery dies is such a waste.

I had to return the first one but I am unsure if it was defective. It cleaned fine the first night then it would only turn on three seconds after that. I bought a brand new Dewalt battery and charge pack so I returned it for a new one. The new one works flawless and I wanted to give it another chance so had it replaced. I dont think my battery seated into it right after many tries. As i said though the new one works great..great suction perfect for the small room I live in to clean up the rug and laminated flooring. Glad I gave it a second shot it was worth it. Other vacuums are like 150 bucks and most are corded. This is a good deal and built by a dewalt sister company..thats why people buy it thinking its dewalt..basically it is just a cheaper version..and does what I need it to do without paying 150 for the vacuum and 75 for the battery and charger.Mind you this does NOT come with a battery as I failed to read it properly. I had to order the battery after the fact ,but It is still worth the money and works great. Just thought I would clarify that before peoplebought it. Yes i would buy it again..since I got the new one a month ago been using it to vaccuum the car..the couches and everything else does a better job than most full vaccuums ive had in my life lol :POne last verification. It has to use Dewalt batteries it says in the instructions. Dont have any other batteries to test that). So if you have one that's 20 volt your set. As I said it is a sister company so only Dewalt batteries work (best of my understanding).

The media could not be loaded. Works with my slim 20v and 20v max batteries pictured above. With the slim its almost weightless and has a long pipe so it would work for elderly to get dust and webs along the ceiling without a chair or stool.Could be more powerful but easily lifts coins up the pipe as in video when I got the angle right as I used no attachment on the end so it works fine.Not really made for carpet but works awesome on everything else. This is a tool for small areas like hard to reach, RVs, workstations, ect.Needs a storage system and a flex hose for me to give it 5 stars but so far I'm happy with it as I got it for my RV next summer and seems it will work great.Comes with 2 washable filters but I will order more in the customers also bought section as I've never had good luck with washable filers holding up.I already have tons of dewalt tools so perfect for the collection as the one dewalt makes is bigger and heavier which don't work with my limited RV space

Vacuum works well for what I use it for. small messes, The filter is small, so cleaning large messes will plug the filter quickly. The filter is easy to clean I use a small soft brush. The unit fits all Dewalt 20v battery's and 20/40v flex volts, also the generic off brand that fit Dewalt tools. Vacuum attachments work well. For how much I paid for it and what I need it for, I'll Gladly buy again.

This has been working great for small cleanup around the house, hidden crevices, ceilings etc. Plenty of suction for what I've done so far.

I was in the market for a new portable vacuum and selected the Mellif because of the good reviews and it uses Dewalt batteries. Very disappointed that I was never able to use it because the latch button that connects the cannister to the motor did not line up with the hole and cannot be connected. I've read reviews and watched videos to see if this happened to others. Did not appear to and I guess I received a lemon; however if this is an example of the quality control of this company, I'll buy the Dewalt vacuum and not a knock off. Lesson learned.

Everything seems fine, filtering, cleaning the filter, attachments.The suction though? Very weak. I guess you get what you pay for.If you want this to pick up dust, OK. But sand and other little things? Not so much.

It's a little work horse. It's light weight but does a good job. It was a good value and would purchase again.
