R+CoBLEU Super Style Crème, 5 Oz

Good, not great
I have naturally wavy hair, so I used this styling cream in lieu of the curl cream I'd normally use, and layered on a gel and foam. My results using this product in combination with other proven products was very much the same results I'd usually see with a curl cream. I got the styling results I'd hoped for. While that's good news, it's also true that nothing about my experience with this product was especially noteworthy or exceptional. I've used this product several times now and my results are consistently good. But good enough to justify the $64 price tag? No. My normal go-to curl creams range in price from around $12 to, say, $28 on the high end. For the difference in price between those products and this one, I would expect dramatically different -- and awesome -- results. Instead, I was left with, "Meh. It's OK."Now, unlike other BLEU products, even the packaging looks ordinary on this one. This was a bit of a disappointment, honestly. One of the things I really do like about other items in this lineup is the packaging. But this just comes in a regular squeeze tube. Functional, sure, but this definitely doesn't scream luxury product the way that many of the other products from this collection do. Minor quibble, maybe, but worth mentioning, nonetheless, given the price point.Don't get me wrong. I like this product. It's a versatile styler, which I appreciate. And I get consistently good results when I use it. Not great. Not awesome. Good.I would say, if you love premium haircare brands, this product is in your budget and you're in the market for a versatile styling cream, this product is a solid bet. But if you're an average Jane like me and you're looking to balance results with value, I don't think you'll find that here.

Fine Hair Is Soft But Not Weighed Down▪️Hair Holds Style Well▪️Shiny & Healthy▪️Tames Flyaways
My hair is fine and gets thinner at the ends and heavier at the crown. It’s straight and hard to manage as it lacks body other than frizz (if that counts as body). I get my hair colored with permanent dye regularly, wash and blow dry almost daily and my hair gets dried out and damages easily. I always need product in my hair or it dries shapeless and frizzy.I’ve used R+Co BLEU Super Style Crème (5 Oz) for almost two weeks and am really happy with the aesthetics and results. It’s translucent white and creamy with a moderately strong yet pretty fragrance. The scent lingers but I don’t need a lot and it smells light within the hour. Fragrance can trigger bad headaches for me, but this scent doesn’t give me any issues.I comb the product through my clean, damp hair before blow drying. I don’t use a lot of styling creams as they often weigh my fine hair down, but this one makes my hair soft and smooth but doesn’t make it weighed down or flat. It definitely makes my hair more manageable as the strands stays together better so I can get shape and added texture into my hair. This cream doesn’t leave my hair feeling dry, and time cream does a good job taming flyaways, though I usually use a drop or so of oil on my ends as they’re so light that it keeps my ends together better and they stay looking freshly styled longer. This cream hasn’t faded my color, and my hair looks healthy and shiny. I haven’t had any breakage, but it’s a bit soon to judge if this makes my hair stronger. Love it so far. 5 stars.

great product, amazing ethics, just way too pricey for 5oz
Pros:Works very well on my wavy/curly hair.It does not weigh my hair down. Not greasy.Great scent.Arrived sealed.Vegan and Cruelty-Free.Seed Card.Cons:Price, price, price. This works great on my hair. It leaves it manageable without weighing it down.I have long curly hair and this 5oz bottle won't last very long, that will get pricey!I love the ethics of this company. I love that it's cruelty-free, recyclable and I love the seed card. And I understand that's one of the reasons for the higher price tag, yet I think it's a bit too high. I definitely would continue purchasing if it was a tad cheaper. I have used other products that work just all well for a third of the price ($22-$25). And I would spend more for the cruelty-free, recycling, and seed card but three times as much is too high for me.

So good! I used slightly different than R+Co recommended
On the R+Co You Tube channel, they used this on a model to enhance her natural curls. I don't have curls like the model (but do have crazy-wavy hair that I blow-dry and straighten), so I blow-dried my hair so that it was near-dry. Then, I took a TINY bit (size of a dime or slightly smaller), rubbed it in my palms and then distributed evenly at the ends of my hair and then spread a little upwards (did not apply at the roots). I let it air dry a bit and then blew it dry just a touch (because I had to get out the door) and then ironed my hair into controlled waves. After I ironed my hair, I used the R+Co hair Optical Illusion Smoothing Oil and oh my goodness... Best hair day ever. I have to say, the styling creme added a shine that was amazing. The oil was probably not necessary, but I had it, so I used it and that stuff is just magic. I'm totally addicted. Full disclosure, I received these from the Amazon Vine program to try and review, but I'm a hair product junkie (former Aveda employee) and am discerning with my hair products. These are in my opinion, above Oribe in terms of results. The shine you get from this Bleu line is unparalleled. The fragrance is sophisticated, but it's also very much there, so hopefully you will enjoy it (I love it). Long story short - the styling creme can be used in other ways other than how they use it in their You Tube video. Use it to help smooth/straighten your hair, give it shine, and an extra boost of control. Highly recommended! ~Amy
