I absolutely LOVE this book so far
As someone who has spent over 20 years dieting and hating my body, I absolutely LOVE this book so far! I haven't finished it, but I have read the original book twice already and I feel that this is a great supplement. It provides a common sense approach. There's more to it than simply telling myself that I can eat what I want, but instead I am being trained to listen to my body's cues and to provide self care. I really like the idea of looking into what causes me to overeat or eat compulsively and learning how to heal my broken relationship with food and my body. I also like the idea that I can set aside linear thinking, which is typically encouraged by dieting. I'm not expected to start and end at a certain place, but instead I feel empowered to revisit various aspects of the process as needed, with the end result being the ability to appropriately nourish myself without guilt. I am also learning to be patient with the process, as I have gained and lost the same 15-20 lbs for the last 20 years and I have had to put weight loss on the back burner. I haven't been on a scale in over a month, and I was getting on the scale every day for months! Since starting this workbook, I have felt in=credible freedom, since I haven't really been all that worried about my weight. I have already recommended this workbook to someone at my church and I am hoping to be able to share it with other people as time goes on.

Very worth a read
If you're looking at this book its probably because you want guidance on eating in this world of diet culture and I can say that the market is so full of false claims and quick sells to catch your attention but this book is about actually helping you connect with yourself and your eating and your own individual healthy point. Just give it a go, its worth it! If anything you'll learn a lot about yourself by contemplating the exercises and questions

choose your healthy food options intuitively
not perfect for my personal goals, ant still pretty valuable and comprehensive work on nutrition. Intuitive eating is a great principle, just be sure you don't ingest big portions of junk foods - intuitively

Workbook
You can work through this by yourself or with a therapist. A great way to look at dieting differently. There is enough space in this workbook to write out and answer the questions.

AMAZING resource from an Intuitive Eating Nutritionist
I'm an intuitive eating nutritionist and I use this with all of my clients. If you are beginning your intuitive eating journey, this is the book to start with. I recommend this even over the Intuitive Eating book because it's easier for clients to read through and the exercises are so helpful. If you want to start eating intuitively, this is the resource to get!!
