Pretty cool watch
While the battery life leaves something to be desired, the watch is pretty great. The fact that it's refurb doesn't seem to be the cause of the battery drain, it's same for new ones based on what I see on the interwebz. The watch band that was sent didn't fit the watch I received, but the seller did issue me a partial refund so that I could purchase an appropriately sized band. Just an error in shipping, which they did resolve with the refund.Overall a good purchase and the seller was very responsive in correcting the issue with the band.

Asurion BAD protection plans
Watch worked fine till the battery stop charging. If you don't give the right answer, asurion won't honor the protection plan. Walmart use to do the same thing. I might have to hire a lawyer and sue asurion or amazon. I paid for a 3 yr protection plan. I just want them to fix this one or swap out.

Nice watch, weak battery life
I've had it for about a year now. It's pretty comfortable compared to other watches I've owned. The GPS and HR sensors seem pretty accurate. SpO2 isn't great, compared it at the doctors office and it said 4% under the pulse OX, then 3% over.Sleep tracking is okay, most watches aren't very accurate at sleep and this one is usually within 20 minutes of my sleep/wake times.ECG and Body comp seem to work fairly well, I get consistent results. I don't have a doctor's tests to compare them too though. Not much lag, though the touch screen can be a little finnicky. Notification volume and vibrate are both kinda weak though.Battery life was the let down. For a while I was getting about 16 hours with nearly all the sensors turned off. Eventually I found the culprit was the "Raise wrist to turn on screen." setting. Once I turned that off, I now get about 30-35 hours with HR every ten minutes, and a daily workout with GPS. I have to press the button to turn on the screen, but at least it's usable now.

Great Fitness watch
I ordered the Galaxy fitness watch 4 renewed...it cost less than half the price of new, I was a little skeptical about not purchasing a new one but when I received it was absolutely perfect both cosmetically and functionally. It still had the factory protective stickers on the band as well as the charger, it's a great item it does every thing I need it to do and more! Go for it you won't be disappointed.

Bought for 85 yr old dad
This watch works great with all of the features we were looking for and not at all complicated for an elderly person to navigate through. It works off of wifi and LTE making it a good emergency contact device. It also has fall notifications as well. He has been wearing it since March with zero issues. We were forever trying to reach him with his phone which he charges by his bed, and then it still sits there, but a watch is something about every older person puts on first thing of a morning. On top of that we charge it in his main hall so it's closer to the other side of the house so when we call, he could hear it or his phone all over the house easier and he has to walk right by it to go for his breakfast every morning. This is a great device.

I hate this watch
I got this watch because Samsung is highly regarded. In fact, this watch does have many fancy features. But one of the useful features that I want is to see the time. The watch display is off by default. You're supposed to be able to turn it on with a simple flick of the wrist. It'd nice if that were true. But it doesn't reliably happen. I've tried "flicking" my wrist in many different directions, fast and slow, even risking dislodging my shoulder, but the display often refuses to turn on.Sometimes it does turn on with not much force but it's so inconsistent that the only way to reliably see the time is to press the button. And that makes it a two-handed operation; you can't just casually check the time. Not good.

Affordable but not perfect alternative carrying a cell phone
We purchased this watch for our 12-yera old son as an alternative to him having a cell phone at school where it could get lost, broken or stolen and keep his nose out of yet another device. My complaints aren't necessarily to do with the device itself and more to do with Samsung's inability for an LTE watch to be used as a standalone device within the scope of what our family/child need it to do. (As much as I hate to say it, Apple has the advantage here.)Because it has LTE, the battery life is not great, as others have said. It'll get him through a full day of school and after school shenanigans so that he can stay connected with me, but we didn't even bring it with us on a recent camping trip because we knew he'd run out of power on day 2.This may be an issue with the after market charger that came with the watch, but occasionally when his watch is charging, it'll randomly start tracking a new running or walking activity and buzz like crazy. Typically the battery is 100% full when this happens. I don't have the same problem with my Active 2 watch on my Samsung charger nor does this happen when his watch is on my Samsung charger.3.5 stars over all. We don't use all of the features because he doesn't have a phone to pair it with, but he can call and text his friends and track his activity. It was worth the price to buy this refurbished watch and delay the smart phone stage. And he's happy because he doesn't have to sport a juvenile looking device on his wrist at school. Knowing what we know now about the battery life, we may have opted for the Watch 5 but the price is still pretty high on those so maybe not.
