Poorly made
Poorly made… I’ve tried other brands as well as OEM… other brands will at least come close to OEMs… which has the spring effect plus damping when trunk is almost fully open. This brand doesn’t have any damping but spring effect. It will SHOOT the trunk up till the trunk stoppers put it to a hard stop, means it will break the trunk hinge pretty soon. Not a defect because it happens to all of the ones I ordered. Returned right away and seller didn’t give full refund.

Don't fit a 2007 Lexus IS250
They don't fit the 2007 IS250. The end can be adapted if you have a grinder or file and use the clips from your original one. The one with the stainless clip in the photo is the original strut. The new one has a plastic clip which just slides off (hopeless). The fix I did may fail as I had to remove a fair bit of metal on the new one to get the stainless steel clip to fit (need to leave plastic bush in the large hole of the strut end)
