Original knob screwed right off...this 8-ball screwed right on!Super easy, looks great.

I like the 8ball. It’s about the same size and a real 8 ball. And feels well made.

We bought this to replace the one that comes with those chinese shifters they sell, and it is definitely an improvement. Larger diameter and increased weight makes shifting feel mich better.

This is really cool, not only for the lore but it’s just different. The ball is great quality and has good weight to it. The stars are easy to see and it’s kind of cool how when the sun hits it projects the stars. I’ve gotten several compliments so far going through drive thrus etc. fits perfectly in my 2023 WRX. But I only give it a 4 star because the fittings are terrible. They don’t actually twist fully on and lock, they just twist and twist to the point that the fitting actually came unglued from the ball and was stuck on my shifter. I was able to use Loctite and get that bad boy super glued on and it ain’t going no where. I still highly recommend this but get some Loctite or sometime similar.

Perfectly fits like a glove you might want to use Loctite or some kind of threading glue but other than that it's great!

Very good feeling shifter ball and it doesnt rotate or seem like it would come off when using it. Took under a minute to install and looks great.

so, this thing may not go on perfectly straight. it didn't for me, the center was probably 20 degrees to the right. nobody in their right mind would be okay with that. it wasn't impossibly snug, so i continued turning just a bit until it was perfectly centered. well then the ball came loose from it's threading. now the metal thread was stuck out a bit from the ceramic ball, no problem, I just tapped it back in on the ground, but it was still loose. i spun it all the way back around, planning to rubber cement it in place in the right spot. problem is, the gear shift rod pushes the ball from the threading, so now it was a good 1/8 inch stuck out. got a hammer and a soft surface and tapped it back in. except i didn't because the bottom of the ceramic chunked out.i can design this better right off the top of my head, create a threaded sheath that screws on to the gear shift, shaped like a gear but with very fine, short teeth. include some rubber cement or other super strong adhesive so that the customer can screw on the metal part, then match up the shift knob themselves. this way you don't have to try to engineer your way around the fact that every car is different. takes less than a minute longer to do it this way.

This gear shift knob is awesome! The only reason I gave it three stars is because I haven't gotten to install it yet & because it did not come with adapters. Super bummer! Fingers crossed that it'll still fit without them, if so I will happily upgrade my review.It came well packaged, very shiny, exactly as advertised! (With the exception of receiving no adapters) Its also weightier than you'd probably expect, which I really love.
