MRCP Facts: 1000+ high yield facts for the & Acute Medicine SCE exams

After missing the pass mark by one mark the first time I sat the MRCP Part 1 exam (despite finishing the Passmed Qs, making notes and doing Pastest past papers and some of the Pastest Qs), I was struggling to find out what I did wrong. One thing I changed the second time around, was booking 1 week annual leave off before my exam and the second was buying this book and following Dr Muzz Instagram page (mrcpfacts). This book is invaluable. It mixes up the specialities as you go through the book and each fact is given as a question- forcing you to think of an answer and learn from your mistakes. He also has really good tables to help revise difficult topics and I definitely came across his facts in my exam. Pleased to say I passed the second time and with more confidence!

I came across the MRCP facts Instagram when revising for Part 1 and loved the bitesize facts on the go (espeically when on busy medical rotations and doing lots of on calls!). I failed Part 1 the first time despite doing lots of questions and the second time I used the cheat sheets and book and followed Dr Muzz's revision plan and passed! I enjoy revising from a physical book and this book is so useful for MRCP and general medical knowledge for medical trainees. Dr Muzz really cares about helping junior doctors pass exams and gain knowledge. Highly recommend - the facts are quick and high yield.

It is highly recommended as a wonderful post-graduate level textbook for quick revision especially in the last few weeks to the exams after completing your online MCQs to absorb and retain the considerably important facts mentioned in this book expected to come in the exam. Also, since the MRCP facts are mentioned in easily digestible content of difficult topics, with the right amount of detail that is logical and clear therefore can likewise be used to adjust any learning style you prefer.

I believe that book is of paramount importance. There are very clear bullet points for MRCP EXAM. DOING passmedicine questions and also MRCP facts book along with you. I believe definitely will help you in MRCP. I find it useful for MRCP exam preparation. I will recommend that book to everyone who is preparing for MRCP exam.

Excellent revision aid. This book has really helped further consolidate my learning for Part 1! Would recommend it for anyone looking to sit this exam.One bit of feedback that I would recommend though would be that if there was ever a second edition of this was to separate each specialty into their own section.
