I am a big fan of the Birkenstock Gizeh Sandal. It looks stylish, but more importantly, is comfortable and safe to wear. Because of the combination of a thong that goes between the big toe and the other toes, plus an adjustable strap, the inevitable slipping when wearing an open-toed sandal is kept to a minimum. However, this construction also means that the shoe has to be worn without socks or other foot covering. So, the Gizeh is definitely a shoe to be worn during the warmer months. But, since I live in the desert, I have a lot of warm months available. Arch support is also important to me, which the Birkenstock footbed supplies.

This is the best flip flop sandal I've ever owned.

I wear the non-slip Birkenstock clogs at work and love the cork footbed so i jumped at the chance to own these sandals for $80. I wear size 42 in the clogs and purchased the sandals in size 41. They fit good in the heel but one of my toes hits the top of the sandal edge. A little annoying but a size 42 would be too big everywhere else. Happy with my purchase!

Whoa. Whoa. In short, these are amazing and worth every penny, for as basic as that sounds. In long, BUY YOUR REAL SIZE PEOPLE! The straps are adjustable, and you'll find adjusting them after they're broken in. Also, Birkenstock recommends wearing only a few hours in the beginning to avoid blistering/while your shoe molds to your foot - DO NOT STRESS ABOUT THIS! I wear a size 10, and bought a size 41 and they fit like a glove. I got tiny tiny red blisters in the middle of my foot for 24 hours, and only took me 1 full day of wearing on/off to break them in. After that, I wore them for 12+ hours straight and forgot I had shoes on. These are heavenly, and after 7 days I'm considering getting another pair because I'm obsessed.

These are my second pair of Birkenstocks, the same model just a different color. The only reason I wish I'd have never bought a pair is that now I don't want to wear any other shoes. The firm support they provide is great for being on my feet all day. I'm prone to plantar fasciitis but when I put these on it provides instant relief and I recover quicker than normal if I wear them each day.

Fakes. Fell apart.

Best sandals for walking or being on your feet a lot especially if you have arch issues.

These sandals fit well true to size, good arch support. They are very comfortable to wear even after 12 hours on my feet at work in other shoes, when I put these on my heel doesn't hurt as bad.
