Look no further... this one is the best!
I was shocked when I looked at my past Amazon orders and saw that I purchased this down comforter 8 years ago, so I was compelled to write a review. To date it's one of the best purchases I've ever made for myself. It's by far the most I've ever spent on a "blanket"... it was a splurge at the time but looking back I'm so happy I did. This is by far the warmest and most comfortable comforter or blanket I've ever used. I'm telling you- I live in Michigan where I keep my heat low, it gets COLD in the winter, and this is the only blanket I need on my bed. Once you've been under the comforter for a couple minutes and allowed your body heat to get trapped in, you will find yourself in a heavenly warm, cozy cloud. It's what I imagine it would be like to be floating inside of a pierogi. There are two very small drawbacks to this comforter. The first is that on a cold, blistery winter morning, I find it very challenging to get out of bed because of how extremely comfortable and cozy I am. The second is that there are no ties, so using a duvet is a real pain in the butt. I used one for a while but they slip and slide all over so I no longer use one. The exterior shell is also very soft and does not irritate my sensitive skin. Depending on the weather, we usually use the comforter from late Autumn to beginning of Spring when it starts to warm up again. It's definitely too warm to use year-round (in Michigan, anyway). After 8 years there are a few pieces of thread that are frayed but nothing you'd really notice and nothing that alters its integrity. There are no other signs of wear and tear, she's still a beaut.Unless you are looking for a comforter with ties/buttons, I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to be warm and cozy in the winter.

5+YR REVIEW*BEST DOWN EVER*
I am one of those people who sits on my money for a purchase and researches the details of a product down to things most people don't even think about. I did that when I bought this in November of 2016 & I'm in need for another- NOT because it was wearing down; in fact it could've kept a naked me warm in a windy Columbia gorge winter for another 10 years! and I'm dramatically cold intolerant! the thing was SO huge&fluffy I thought all these years Id ordered a king cause I had so much extra room on my queen bed! nope- it's just that awesome.I also absolutely hate getting overheated at night. when you're cold and hot intolerant with degenerated disks and middle aged it makes you one picky a$$ sleeper! I am also stupidly sensitive to smells and texture of materials. I will throw sheets away the moment they get any feeling of those little cotton ball things- so wanting a down comforter that never pokes me, keeps me warm but NOT overheated and I didn't wanna pay more than $150 for it!? If this was a car lot I'd be laughed off the sales floor!well I'm glad it's not because I got everything I wanted and the darn thing lasted through the first 6 years of my daughters life flawlessly & will now become hers and this mama is getting a new one. I'm a little worried they'll have changed something about it & I won't like it as much.the only reason I'm needing a new one is the current one had an unfortunate run in with scissors because crafting occurred while my 6yr old borrowed my blanket :( the only downside I have ever found to it being SOO fluffy!yes,it looses little ity bity down whisps for a bit, and I never could get myself to cover it because the material was so perfect. cool to the touch but kept the heat around my body perfectly. Ive reccomended this specific comforter to anyone who asks! I have found after using it for years, the weight of it actually helps me sleep and once you go 'The Down' way-you just cant go back! I don't know what comforters others took pictures of, I'll have to add some of mine to this because I couldn't have flattened mine to ever look as flat as the ones in some of the reviews.oh... and its a true box stitch, at one point i doubted because the seams didn't look like it, but now that n it's been cut opened they use this awesome little webbing in between each of the boxes that's stretchy and holds the feathers in place inside each box but gives&flexes-which e plains why the fill weight never seemed to stress the seams-it is ingenious!

Highly recommended!!
This’s comforter is amazing!! I’ve been using this for over a year now.-it’s pretty heavy. Almost too heavy for a really hot summer night (it gets 110° in the summers here). But I still use it year round.-it’s warm and also kind of cool. I use it for all seasons.-it’s not too fluffy. I’m not constantly losing my phone or remote in it.-it’s fairly thick. I did not want one that was paper thin and flat, so I did quite a bit of research and I am very happy with it. There enough substance to give it some good fluff.-it’s kind of loud, but not unreasonably when moving.-I have two different duvet covers/sets that I use and it fits perfectly in there. It’s also does not slide around and fall down to one end like my other blanket did.Overall this is a great blanket, and the price is so reasonable. I would have expected it to be more for the quality. I am so happy with this purchase, and I’m confident that I’ll use it for the next 10 years to come.

Will last for 2-3 years
Got this blanket at 2021. Overall had a good experience. Blanket is warm and cozy. After 3 years pockets became almost empty, especially in the middle. Pay your attention that it’s only 50% of goose down.
