Very good quality quiet powerful fan
The media could not be loaded. This air purifier comes well packed and in a branded boxIt's made by beurer who I have found to be high quality and reliable product engineered and manufactured in Germanyso quality is mostly a premium grade in my experienceits white and mostly made from plastic except for the internals / fans etcThe top has some touch button controls just simple and user friendly basic on off function repeat press for speed 1 2 and 3There is also a timer which can be set from 2 hours 4 and 6 and it will stop itselfIt includes the filter but remember to remove the plastic packing from inside the shell its well built from top to bottom and The filter access is easy and user friendly also simply by unscrewing the dial under the base releases the base from the fan housing and the filter just drops into place its very easy to changeI use air filters because they are good for overall health and I smoke that sounds odd but so, it helps stop the smell and secondly keeps the air clean in the room afterward my old one has a PM (partical meter) display so tells you the quality of the air and glows green when good blue and red when the air is toxic from smoke etcThis doesn't display anything other than the standard indication lights to tell you what setting your on but i think iits a trade off from cheaper ones because this one is better built, more powerfull, and quieter,So overall id say its a great device to help with allergys and improve overall living conditions the other bonus in a warm office it acts like a air conditioner it just feels cooler and fresher as I said I begin to recognise beurer as a high quality manufacturer of health related products and the filter is changeable/ replaceable a solid air purifier in my opinion

Pricing issues
I paid £119 08 today its £118 29 .Yet via another website it's £189 on Amazon and at Holland and Barrat . I asked Customer Service if it was a used one before I received delivery but informed NO. In Trustpilot Beurer has very poor reviews. Plus I note to change or insert the filters you unscrew the bottom of the appliance . I find that awful

Impressive Air Purifier From Beurer... But What's With The Nighttime Beep When The Timer Expires?
The media could not be loaded. This air purifier from Beurer feels premium in terms of build quality with a good responsive touch control panel and performance to match. Air purifiers typically follow the same principle of sucking in air through the base holes, which then passes through the filter before the now clean air is blown out the top, and this one follows that process. I've included a little video showing some of the below which I hope you find helpful. The included HEPA filter is located in the base and accessed via an easy to unscrew grey plastic screw. Please remember to take the filter out and remove the plastic wrap before using the air purifier..Once the filter is put back and the base screwed up you are good to go. The unit has a nice long cable and is very effective in operation. You have four fan settings and the option of either having it on all the time or you can set one of three timers to switch it off after an allotted time periodI'm using ours in the bedroom where I put it on at night as I not only want cleaner air as I sleep but I also like the gentle fan/white noise it produces in Nighttime mode. But...why did Beurer make it beep after the timer elapses? Especially if you put it on nighttime mode? I have been woken up (admittedly it's not every night) to the "Beep" if I'm not in a deep sleep after the timer has expired and as the machine shuts down. Surely if in night mode, disable the beeper! The other concern with these vertical fan designs is that if left switched off for a few days dust will undoubtedly settle on the fan blades and you cannot easily clean them. That then means when it's switched on you are potentially blowing dust up into the room from the blades. My advice is that if leaving unused and unattended I would unplug and cover the unit. With the LR220 filter lasting for approx 4260 hours (that's 177 full days continuous use), and replacement filters available to purchase (I'm pleased to find them on Amazon currently costing £37 at time of writing), it should mean that you can clean the air for about £75 a year in filter costs (that cost does not factor in the electricity cost to run though). So this is a well made, reasonably future proofed (as long as you can still get replacement filters), effective air purifier then... just make sure you sleep deep to be able to avoid hearing that beep.

Practical size
I have a standup rectangular shaped one of these in the living room but this one is much more practical for a bedroom of medium size, certainly good for a home office. It's compact cylinder shape makes it good for putting in a lot of places although it does say leave 30cm around the unit. I want to use it a bit closer to a wall and am not that worried about following that rule. It has a quiet mode which is not totally silent but I'm a bit deaf so it does not bother me, from 6 feet away I can barely hear it. I find units such as these do help a lot with airborne particles and help keep dust and odours at bay. I have an odd issue where smells of my nextdoor neighbour's cooking somehow leech through into my hallway (no idea how) and I have found this helps take the edge from that too. I still have to use a masking air freshener later on but the length of time the smell lingers has been decreased by this filter so I know it makes an effort despite not being miraculous on odours. I think if you suffer from issues with pollen you will find this beneficial but I would say whatever its specifications that it creates a significant reduction but not total elimination. Although they are expensive this one is quite well priced considering it's smaller size but that compactness does not seem to be impacting the operation in my medium sized bedroom. It appears solid and well made. Like most of these units it's easy to operate with indicators and the buttons cycling through the various speeds and the timer options. I kind of prefer it to my more bulky one in the living room which really has to stay in one place..
