I had practically new New Balance sneakers used for walking. Within a short time period, My toes were wearing out the fabric on both shoes (so irritating). These were easy to install in the shoe, are practically invisible and my shoes have been perfect since. The product stays in place and is working to reinforce the toe area. My shoes are black and the black color patch is a great match to the fabric. Would recommend this product.

I have a pair of New Balance orthopedic shoes. They're still in great condition, however the heel portions are starting to wear down and the mesh in the toe region is a bit torn. I can sew up the mesh no problem, but that wouldn't resolve the issue of my toe just making a new hole or widening the existing one. One site recommended getting a patch to strengthen the toe and heel regions, so I decided to try these out.They have a decent amount of stickiness and getting them to adhere was no problem. They are also the perfect size for my size eleven shoes. So far they're staying in place with no issues, but I will admit that I'm a bit concerned as to how they will fare in the long run. They're staying in place now, but I am worried how they will hold up to repeated wear, rubbing, and the elements since the tops of the shoes are made of mesh. I think they'd hold up a lot better if my shoes were entirely made of cloth, if that helps any. There's only so much that you can expect of something when the fabric is so permeable. At the very least I think they'll do for now.

I had a hole in the back of my shoe right above the sole of the show, where your heel is. The sticky part of the repair piece adhere to the canvas of the shoe, but it’s also shiny. Therefore if the hole in your shoe is big you will be able to see the shiny glue from the outside of your shoe. This is what happened to me. After a while the shininess went away from the various dust & etc. that stuck to the glue & the patch itself came off each time I took my shoes off. It only stuck on for about 3 months of my wearing my shoes at least 3-5 times a month.

I was very excited when I purchased this product. I have a fairly new pair of New Balance tennis shoes with a hole in the toe. I bought this product to fix the hole.This was the perfect size and very sticky. It went on great and looked great…until I put the shoes on to wear. Once I wore the shoes, the patch let go and the sticky was no longer sticky.I’m very disappointed. No need to spend your money on this product.

Upon initially applying product it seemed good. However the next day when I took a longer walk outdoors the patch began peeling away from the mesh.
