It’s so nice to find a large quantity of steel cut oats that I can trust is safe for Celiac. I go through about 3-4 cups a week for breakfasts for my husband and I. Love that I can buy 7lb bags that will last me a few months. These are nice quality oats that taste delicious.I read another review that was clearly puzzled by the shape of the oats in their bag. This listing is for several different varieties of oats, so make sure you choose correctly. A whole oat (oat groat) looks like a thick grain of brown rice. Steel Cut Oats are groats that are cut. It can look like little cylinders or little pellets. Rolled Oats are groats that are steamed and then flattened, and what you may think of as traditional oatmeal shape. And instant oats are cut groats that are steamed and flattened, so they look more like flakes.Rolled oats cook in just a few minutes, whereas Steel Cut and Oat Groats take much longer. But I make my steel cut in the pressure cooker - just 4 minutes under pressure and done!

I’ve been on the hunt for a real nutritious oat for a while. Thrilled I found these , they have more protein than the standard and are very high quality and taste delicious! Highly recommend for a healthy filling breakfast!

This is a reliable tasty steel cut oatmeal.I use a rice cooker to make it. Set it. up the night before and it’s ready in the morning.

These are excellent Oats!! I live in a small town that doesn't carry a lot of alternative options to 'status quo' food at the store. The only oatmeal available was Quaker's, so I am glad I found this brand! I mainly use these oats to add to my breakfast smoothie, but I did make my daughter oatmeal that she really liked. I really like the resealable bag, it is just hard to get any scoop or spoon in the bag without making a mess. So I put some oats into a smaller container so I don't have to get into the bag every time I make a smoothie..much faster this way! The oats hold their shape in my smoothie, which is what I want, and taste really good! I will definitely keep buying this brand!!

Smell and taste like oats. Turn to mush if cooked as instructed. Undercooked is not an even texture, clumps or partially mush.Amazon would not allow me to return these oats, I asked about two weeks after ordering. Not worth the risk of buying.
