This crystal ball is beautiful! I find it amazing. It is a bit larger than I imagined and weight makes it a "pick a good spot" to put it. But still a great ball. Flawless clarity as far as I can see. Like a massive rain drop of purest water.I did find the stand that came with it a little rough and could have been sanded smoother. 3 star for the pedestel and 5 for the ball.Thank you.

Incredible. It's HUGE! I NO amount of imagining, measuring and comparing to a dinner plate, or whatever can prepare you for how massive this thing is in person. Someone else had written that it was maybe TOO big. For me it's perfect and a dream come true. It's the third and by far largest crystal ball I've owned, and it finally fulfills that fantasy of a really big one. It's incredibly clear too. Absolutely beautiful. Don't expect to perch this on some dinky table. You're going to need a solid and sturdy piece of furniture to support it and not tip over. If this thing falls it could kill, so play it SAFE.

The media could not be loaded. Ok it was shipped very carefully, but I'm wanting it in my aquarium, the wooden/felt stand that comes with is not safe for the fish, so I need a stand for in the aquarium. But, it is gorgeous! Solid crystal, extreme quality.

The crystal ball is bigger then I thought it would be and very heavy. I had to have my husband lift it for me. You won’t be disappointed we’ll worth the money.

If you are considering getting this crystal ball, you should be aware of a couple things. The ball is VERY heavy, and comes packaged in styrofoam which will likely be shredded during shipping and coming apart when you open the package. Not only does this make things a huge mess, but also makes the original packaging nearly useless for storing the ball. The crystal itself (assuming it is not damaged during shipping) is excellent: high quality and flawless. The wooden stand, on the other hand, is crap. Mine came completely cracked as you can see in the photos. But even beyond this, the stand is simply the worst quality product I think I have seen in years. Will it hold up your heavy crystal ball? Yes. But it is simply so ugly and poorly constructed that it distracts from the beauty of the ball. As a result, this product is not worth the amount they are charging for it. I very seriously considered returning this item, but in the end decided to keep it simply because the crystal itself is so good. I am now hiring a local artisan woodworker to create a custom stand for it that will enhance the beauty of the crystal, and then I will chuck the original stand in the garbage.

I bought this 250 mm crystal ball for my husband as a Father’s Day gift. The one next to it was last years gift. He is obscessed with these crystal balls. The 250 mm crystal ball was totally mind blowing! The quality was flawless, the stand revolves to allow you to turn the ball all around and is very sturdy, as it must be to hold a 46 pound ball.A serious word of caution to to be taken lightly; You can burn your house down with these things! Keep them covered, in a corner someplace. We had ours on a coffee table on a cloudy day away from a window, the light from a skylight set a table on fire! No lie!

The styrofoam inserts in the box were smushed and cracked due to the excessive weight of this but the crystal ball was still in perfect shape. If you want to find a different stand to place this on (a basic one is included) you will have a challenge because of the weight and size. Also this is like a Huge magnifying glass so it could easily start a fire if you place it near or a window or have it outside.
