Perhaps mine was a lemon 🍋 but the scissors could not even cut through baby hair. The scissors just folded the hair in half, no sharpness at all. In addition, the clippers pulled at the baby's hair, which made the experience even worse. I was expecting them to cut through the hair with ease, but it was definitely a challenge. Ended up using kitchen scissors for the job, which at least cut the hair with ease. I have returned the product, and will be looking for a different set.I've noticed many of these highly rated products come with a free gift, so perhaps that's one of the reasons you see a lot of 5 star 🌟 reviews... Just sayin.

This kit has everything you can need to cut hair at home! Bought this for my 5 year old who hates haircuts, it’s perfect for him because it’s quiet. It’s cordless too which is a big bonus! Great buy!

It came in quick and fast. The instructions are easy to understand I use it on my husband and my 1year old son. It’s cordless so that is really good for me and the kids who are always on the move. It is so quiet and cuts like butter!! So happy!
