Beadalon Jewel Loom(TM) Beading Loom

I'm not an expert and I didn,t want to spend a fortune for a loom for beadwork, but I have to say this little gadget works great. It's so simple and the warp threads hold their tension. The loom is so small and light you can bead anywhere. I bought a sticky bead mat and took it on vacation and made a bracelet in no time. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try beading on a loom because the price is low and it actually works fine!

Dec 2013 If you are interested in making bracelets, this is an excellent inexpensive loom. Before this loom, I bought another more traditional loom with coils and screws and what a nightmare! It took longer to thread the damn thing than it did to make the bracelet. This loom is superior because it is wide/long enough to make a full length bracelet on it without needing to roll the project, which is all but impossible to do. My only cautionary remark is to state that you need to be sure to pull tight the last warp string when you tie it on the knob-end otherwise your last warp thread will be loose. As for the metal bar popping out as someone else mentioned, lol, the bar is supposed to be removed before you start your project.UPDATE Feb 2014 I'm beginning to have difficulty keeping the tension from sagging in the first few rows. I can literally spend an hour every time I begin a project just threading and re threading the loom. It's starting to get tiresome as there is no way to remedy this problem except to rethread the entire thing over and over again until you get it right. ughIf anyone finds an awesome bead loom, please let me know!

I have used basic wood and wire looms when I was younger but I hated them and was hesitant to buy another but when a project is requested we do a lot for our crafts, so when I saw a new design I haven’t seen before I figured for the cheap price I wouldn’t be out too much if I didn’t like it. I had no problems getting the support rod in, I don’t understand where people are having problems, I was more concerned about getting it out with strings above it, I just putt against my chest and a thumb over the other side of the wrapped strings and it came out beautifully, no fuss at all! Best bead loom I have ever used!

This product is low quality! First one I got came with a defective metal bar. Returned it for a replacement. Got a new one, I used it once, went to put it back in the package for storage, and it snapped and broke in half while taking out the metal bar. So hard to use and the threads became saggy during use.

Only gave it 4stars because I did not have the metal rod when I received it. Other than that, no issues. Look forward to really making a lot of bracelets with it.

This loom is actually pretty good, but it broke very easily. The tensile strength was great for making it easy to loom with, but I was disappointed when it broke soon after buying it.

Love to just relax and bead both designs I made free form the second rainbow one I didn't make a pattern 😁 love this loom it's easy to store and travel with.

Loved the lightweight. Also the size. But on the 3rd month it snapped in half. I do not use it roughly, I’m really sad that this did not last….
