It is not a powder but small dried shreds of coconut kernel. Dry, Tasty, & Crispy. You can add it to your curry, boiled pulse (dahl) to increase its taste. You can make laddoos using it: Take one can of condensed milk in a bowl, simmer it, add the whole packet of desiccated coconut, and add sugar (2 tablespoonfuls). In another borosilicate glass bowl heat up half tsp elachi powder & 1 tsp cinnamon powder with pure ghee (2 tsp) in a microwave oven for 1 min. Pour the entire coconut paste onto it, mix well, cool and keep in a fridge for fridge-drying. Pull out the cooled mass when it is sufficiently sticky. Make laddoos as usual.
