after several times replacing mine with local parts store product, finally someone makes a kit from high quality materials. The store bought chinese ones wear out in a remarkably short time. This kit has already outlasted the others by a factor of 3 and show zero signs of wear. Definitely worth the price.

I only had the driver's door top hinge bushings fail, so I only needed half the kit. But now I have a spare, so that's good. Great USA-made product and an easy fix as long as you have the patience and correct tools. If you have a good helper and secure way to support the door you're halfway there. The bushings are hardened and therefore brittle, so use a socket or dowel of appropriate diameter to hit against to help press it in and distribute the load.

Bushings are solid and not cast. They did not crumble or break. Good product

I ended up buying the spring compression tool for this job since I've done it before and reinstalling the springs is the worst part.Make a note or take pics of how the original pins are installed so you install the new ones correctly.

Stop buying the Dorman hinge pins and buy these. Buy one kit per door as one order comes with enough to do only one door. It's double the cost of the Dorman pin kits but the quality of the bushing is far superior than the Chinese Dormans.Do not pound the bushings in with a hammer. Use a bolt and socket as a homemade press and you will not break the bushings even though these are a lot tougher.I used Magnalube to grease the pins and contact points in the door and it opens and shuts better than new. Don't use wheel bearing grease or Lithium grease. If you install these pins with a high quality grease like Magnalube, the pins will last a long time without the friction.

Pin & Bushing Kit are just what you need to fix a "saggy" door. All parts are well made (USA), well fitting, with good instructions. Although less expensive, you want to avoid the kits made in China (Dorman), as the bushing alloy "Manurium", will just crumble to dust as you are trying to install them, leaving you in a real tight spot, figuring how to get your door back on without having new bushings!
