It works. After trying three chargers advertised as being having the correct power and connector for my older HP Pc, I found one that did exactly what it said it would. Hooked up to my PC easily withut blowing out the electric components.

Died after a few months, seller replaced
Update: seller reached out and sent me a replacement. Changing to 4 stars.Longevity is an issue with this product. It no longer charges the laptop. OEM charger still works. This one bit the dust. Hopefully there are other options out there that will last longer than this.

Dangerous fire hazard
