HP Elite 8200 Tower Office PC Desktop Computer i5 2400 16GB RAM 120GB SSD + 1TB HDD WiFi Intel HD Graphics Windows 10 Professional (Renewed)

I bought this to replace my Dell Studio XPS that I bought in July 2010 and has decided that it has had enough and died in a big way. Fortunately every Saturday I back up all my files to an external hard drive so whatever I bought I could load my existing files which would only be 6 days old.I ordered it on a Friday afternoon and I received it about midday on the next Monday (next working day)I asked for a USB 3 card which was done free of charge.I'm very pleased with this product and it works very well. It's nice to have a clean version of Windows which loads a lot quicker than my old Dell. From memory I paid a lot less for it than I did for my Dell 11 years ago. Although I've made a few alterations I've no doubt that it would work as well as supplied.When I received the machine I installed the 5 port plus 2 front ports USB 3 card from my now defunct Dell. I had to get a Molex power suppy splitter to do this.The WiFi/Bluetooth arrangements as supplied were an USB 2 dongle so I installed the WiFi/Bluetooth card from my Dell.The arrangements for a second monitor were a DB9 to HDMI adapter. Both my ancient monitors only have VGA inputs so I installed the video card from my Dell which had a VGA and a DVI output with a DVI to VGA adapter.I'm considering installing either a card reader or the optical drive from my Dell in the vacant 5.25" bay (the other vacant bay is now occupied by my front USB 3 ports).

I've bought this to replace one exactly the same ,it lasted 6 years, it arrived incredibly well packaged and works very well so far but obviously a gaming computer not a standard one ,it has huge RAM but low Hard drive ,this is easily sorted by converting the RAM into storage,the SSD does not offer itself for storage on the desktop but works in the same way ,also I've come from windows 7 to 10 and have lost my DVD/CD burner,it will play disks but nothing else , apparently Windows 10/11 does not readily support this anymore ,I've had to purchase a separate external disc player/burner ,the tower itself is quite dented and scratched,it's being a case of transferring undamaged parts from my old tower onto the new one ,

the computer will not turn on and i am trying to have it picked up for return.i use a mobility scooter and cannot carry the heavy box anywhere .i would like it collected from my home address for return please.i have been trying since october to have it collected and returned.thank you.d rust. (mr)

PC was delivered quickly, clean (out&in) and well packed. Everything was working well. Although a PC of this spec won't be supported by Microsoft for long (until Oct 2025), it is a good option for me and a decision about Windows 11 can wait. Pleased with what I've got.

Got this HP Elite as my old PC had died on me and as my funds were limited my husband did someresearch and found this beauty! I didn't realise how slow my old PC was compared to this. I am so happy.It is fast and reliable and the best part, it was under £200. Had a little problem with the wifi/bluetooth dongle being damaged but that was sorted very quickly and a replacement was sent out next day. Will definitely buy from Amazon renew again.

This was to replace an existing computer that was malfunctioning. It was easy to set up and reinstall Microsoft Office etc. as I edit a Parish Paper using Publisher. I find it is quick on start up and has performed well. I am a bit disappointed that it is not suitable to have Windows 11 installed on it.

Great product, great customer service

Brought a computer as didn't want to spend lots of money on a new one for a relatively small amount of use. Shortly after had an issue with the boot up order. Was sent a new drive which we installed. Month later same issue. Now takes at least 5 minutes to get to the log on screen and a a furher 10 mins to be in a useable state.Waste of money and now need to buy another one. Should have brought a new one in the first place.
