FAHREN H13/9008 LED Bulb, 600% Super Bright, 6500K Cool White H13 Bulb for Halogen Replacement, IP68 Waterproof, Pack of 2

Well, here is the situation. I purchased the correct LED headlights ( H13/9008 LED )for my 2008 Hummer H3 and the connectors will not couple.(Ive included pictures of both the LED connector and My H3's. The tag on the Fahren light ..says contact us..I did that a week ago. It kind of sucks I purchased Headlights, Foglights and Canbus decoders, that I may not need from this company. You,d think someone would be monitoring support issues.I have changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars. The product is good, once you get it connected. Do NOT rely on Customer support by Fahren , they just replied to me ...3 days after I figured it out. The fix...the connectors are not built to a tight tollerence. The manufacturer made the male housing coming off the canbus too thick, so the female connector from a Hummer doesnt fit. I purchased a set of canbus decoders from a completley different company with better connectors. The decoder connections fit both the LED lights and the Hummer connection...boom, bright LED lights..In my opinion, there was way too much work/ research and extra purchase for something sold as "plug and play".

Bought these bulbs for my daughter’s Mini Cooper and they are much brighter than stock. Seems to be a decent value but let’s see how long they last. They’re also pretty simple to install.TWO PROBLEMS:1) in some cars like her Mini, you will get a warning light that you have a bulb out even when both are working. It’s because the sensor doesn’t recognize the LEDs. Not a huge problem, just annoying.2) the electrical connectors on the bulbs are not a good fit with stock wiring. Even with some modifying the locking clip will not lock. That could present problems with it decoupling. Will see.

Also, the column containing the diodes can be rotated to achieve the ideal beam pattern. I used the recommended orientation (3 & 9 o’clock).The performance of the bulbs are great, they provide way more light than the stock bulbs and a better, higher color kelvin temperature. They make a world of difference! The bulbs are dual function (low & high beam), the low beam are very bright but balance (not blinding everyone on the road) and the high beams make the light reach further down the road (not much more brightness tho).The life of the bulbs are unknown for now, but I’ll come back and update in a years time to give a update. As long as the driver is decent, the diodes should last 10+ years hopefully!I’d recommend considering the ease of install, the performance, and the cheap price (compared to other brands and/or whole next headlight assembly).

Bright, much better than old bulbs, not too hard to install on yukon. Yukon was the problem not the lights

I just got these in for my wife's Ford Flex yesterday and installed them last night. After an hour of fiddling i got the lights to the 3 & 9 position, leveled the beams, and went on a test drive. The light output is great, however, they put a very narrow beam out that criss-crosses out in front of the car. You could only get normal led (as compared to my stock ram headlights) output with the high beams on. I couldn't see the side roads to turn in a dark lit area of our neighborhood due to this. In order to fix the low beam issues i had to angle the bulbs which gave it a more factory led spread off to the sides of the street, but the high beams are pretty much useless now.These are a good price and with a little manufacturing tweak im sure the light pattern issues could be resolved.

I modded the car's wiring to activate the low beams whenever the high beams are lit, and this works fine with these bulbs. Other LED's I tried had an internal circuit that would not let this happen.Adjustment is also easy: just rotate to the correct orientation after installation. And make sure that the hi/low beams work correctly... as it IS possible to install them upside down, and the hi/low beams are switched.

If you're like me, you've been overwhelmed with how many options there are when it comes to LED headlight bulb options out there, between cost, output, shape, features, etc. I thought this was going to be an easy purchase but it turns out that it hasn't been.I have a Ford Escape and the first thing I noticed was that the connection port doesn't match my OEM bulb's connection pattern—it's close, but not close enough. The plastic portion that allows for the clip to secure the connection to the bulb was too long and wouldn't allow for the plastic clip to lock it in.I manually had to take a razor blade and shave off slivers of plastic from the bulb's housing in order for it to lock in properly, which definitely shouldn't be necessary given that I ordered the correct size (H13/9008). While I don't mind doing a little bit of work to get something to work properly, I think most people would have returned the product right there.But wait, there's more!Once I finally got them shaved down and installed, the beam pattern seemed really high, which is not safe for other drivers. It was nighttime and I needed to head home, so I figured I'd see if they were really too high, or if I just wasn't used to the increased output.They were too high.In my 20-minute drive home, I was flashed by other drivers multiple times. These have to go.If that weren't enough, the high beam function (as many others have stated) does not function properly. It adds light, but doesn't change the beam angle to raise it, like HIGH beams should.Choosing another company's product and returning this as they are basically unusable, even after the modification to get them to fit.
