I use the cubes for various purposes, from timing personal tasks to group members' participation in Zoom meetings. I'm really glad I bought a pair of cubes with different timers so I can do 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, and 60 minutes.The cubes work very well and utilize two AAA batteries. Whichever face of the cube faces up is what's operative, and a faint red light flashes inside to indicate that the timer is working. When the blank side is up, the timer resets to zero. The end-timer alarm is a repeated beep than can be set to two volumes; I find the lower volume sufficiently loud.The only weakness is: it's not easy to see the digital countdown timer showing the time remaining. Not only because the view may be sideways or upside down while the cube is active, but also because it's dark. I think that could be improved by putting a backlight in the countdown timer, but then that also would shorten the battery life. So I suppose it's a tradeoff.Finally, the shade of blue for the timer exactly matched the color in the ad for the product, so I was happy that I didn't get a shade of blue that was more greenish but is a purer light blue color.

I ordered these for my ADHD and they really come in handy. You turn it on and lay it so the timer setting you want it facing up. There's a faint red light that lets you know its on, and it beeps to let you know the timer is starting. I really enjoy it because it's easy and intuitive, and it allows me to put my phone away while studying. My original set had a defect, and amazon CS said they were sending me a replacement but never did. I forgot (because ADHD), and was out of the return window, but when I contacted the seller directly, they apologized (for Amazon's mistake mind you) and immediately sent me a new set! I genuinely appreciate the product and the customer service.

I originally got this to help me focus at work and to help the students I work with as well. BUT this set never left my house so I will likely be investing in a second set for work. I am not sure why actual timers do not work for me and for me personally, I’m not a huge fan of visual timers, but these are fun, cute, easy to use and help with my time management. I understand that one side needs to be left to show the amount of time left on the countdown, but I do wish that more time options were available per each cube or they made ones with more sides to facilitate this. However, for now, this absolutely works and has been a great tool to add to my bag of tricks for my adhd!

I have ADHD, and have total time blindness. These have been super helpful to keep track of everything from how long my coffee break is in the morning, and remembering to get the pizza out of the oven in a few minutes to motivating me to get things done! Avoids turning my phone on to set out turn off a timer, (the device of all distraction), as well as keeps me from getting lost in time when I'm playing games on my phone! I can 'just work on it for twenty minutes' often helps me get started on projects. Very helpful and relieves me time-checking anxiety during my breaks.

These are perfect for my kids - easy to use, and not too loud! They use them for showers and for taking turns. Two thumbs up!

These timer cubes are great ... for as long as they last. I bought them for my wife at Christmas and we used it every day. Now that it's April, the one with the 3-minute timer doesn't work anymore. It just chirps when you turn it over, even after taking out batteries and putting them back in, and even after switching out the batteries. I think the rotating mechanism just wears out fast, and we are left with a useless lump of plastic trash. Until they find a way to make these last longer, I'd stay away...

I keep them on the kitchen counter for timeouts and for whole family quick house pickups!
