These supplements were inexpensive and made in the USA. Directions state to take one, up to three times daily. There is no sugar, starch, yeast, wheat, soy, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. They seem to work as well as any generic type fish oil 1,000 mg supplement... I guess it is really hard to tell with these things
