Yes, too big (Mazda CX-5)
I wish I had followed the advice of the other reviewers and gone one size smaller. The recommended size for my Mazda CX-5 is a bit cumbersome. Fortunately the design allows for some overlap, so it will fit with a bit of fiddling. The spring loops fill the windshield nicely and the loose edges ensure full coverage. It folds up nicely into a compact bag which fits down the size of the passenger seat.

Perfect
a little bit bigger than i expected. but works really well. it can cover the whole windshield.

Great size, quality subpar
The XL was the perfect size for my car, just as they said. I blocks the entire windshield & even completely behind the rear view mirror. I love how it blocks all of the sun. Living in Texas, this is a must! But the quality isn't as great as I'd like. Mine was delivered June 30th & I have used it almost every day. I noticed today when I was putting it in my windshield that it is already coming apart & the wire is exposed. I will try to glue it or something but it shouldn't be coming apart after 2 weeks. Very disappointed.

I prefer one size smaller than their recommended size.
Seems like a very good shade. It will do it’s job. Sizing note: I did not like the “recommended” size in their size charts. It was too big. It required wedging the shade in and out of the edges of the windshield and was just too much of a pain and very clunky. In my opinion - I disagree with their size charts. We tried one size smaller than what they recommend and liked it much better. It is more floppy and doesn’t form as tight a “seal” as the recommended size - but it’s much easier to get in and out of the windshield which is important because in the summer than can be done dozens of time in a day and I don’t want to be annoyed every single time we use it. So - my opinion is to use one size smaller than they recommend - for ease of insert and removal. If you want a super tight fit that seals things up tight - get the recommended size but on my vehicle it was just too annoying.
