So far this phone holder appears to be very sturdy while still allowing me to use my phones touchscreen with ease. The mount is unique and doesn't mar the handlebars at all. Once in place you tighten the zip tie like tab hand tight leaving it loose and screw down the nut which tightens and ensures it will not come loose. Definitely better than using Velcro for a single mount point. The plastic tab the holder slides onto also appears sturdy but I'm not sure I'd go mountain biking with it, road cycling though it's fine.My Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G barely fit while still in an OtterBox commuter case so I placed it in and snugged it into position and left it overnight. Problem solved. The glare shield does it's job well in the Texas sun but isn't any more imposing than carrying a small tv on your handlebars already is. You bought the big phone, you win the prize of obnoxiously large holder for your bike.This does not have room for a bike pump or tools, only your key fob, some cash and a card. However that's as advertised regarding storage capacity so if you are looking for a sturdy handlebar holder for huge phones, I recommend it.Water: no clue so I cannot review this aspect. Perhaps someone with no sense can test with their water hose. It does however come with the rain cover however that does prevent you from seeing your screen. This may be a non-issue if you are cycling in a downpour though.

I purchased this for my husband so that he could have his phone attached to his motorcycle. I was skeptical, but this appeared to be the sturdiest option. We were pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It was large enough to not only hold his phone (Samsung Note 10+), but also had enough room behind the thick, secure velcro strap that holds the phone in place for his wallet and even had a zippered pouch for loose items. The zipper is pretty decent quality, and seems strong/firm enough to prevent moisture from getting in. Attaching it to the motorcycle was easy, and my husband especially enjoys that he can remove the entire case while leaving the attachment part connected to his bike. All-in-all, I would recommend this holder.

I bike around ALLOT and use my phone. There are 2 of us, and we bought a different brand/style and from that experience had particular specs we were looking for and this bike phone holder has checked off all the marks:1. Sturdy back w/ mount. Must hold up the phone in desired angle on its own.2. More secure handlebar mount. (We were using a 3 point velcro attachment)3. Fit Samsung S21 Ultra with Otterbox Defender case. (total height-7 in; total width-3.375 in; total thickness- 1/2 in)4. Fit Ice pack (because as the weather has started to get hotter and hotter, our phones began to overheat in the case).Bonus:1. It is easy/quick to unclip from bike when needed, unlike the velcro version we had tried.The negatives/critique/things to consider:1. I had to switch to a smaller ice pack because this Bike Phone Holder was not thick enough.2. It moves too easily from landscape view to portrait. When I go to tap on buttons/turn on phone/etc while mounted, it toggles around. Though, I have been accused of being "too rough" with my gear, but I just call it having Hulk Hands. That being said, when I am not messing with it, it stays in place, even on rough roads.3. It doesn't allow circulation, so very very likely your phone will overheat during the summer or on super sunny days. (I think overheating would be a problem on "open" bike mounts though...so I like having it enclosed and being able to have a reusable ice pack). Probably not an issue if you are not on your bike for too long.4. Buttons on side of phone are blocked. They can still be depressed...just not super easily.I don't know:1. Fingerprint ID - my screen protector blocks this, so I don't know if you could unlock your phone through this mount in this way.Hope this helps making your decision.Personally, we are getting a second one to replace the other style.

Bag's a little bulky, but the mount is durable and stays put.Inside the weatherproof compartment is room for a lot of stuff that you want to keep dry. The phone holder is adequate for a big smartphone and the touch screen interface works well.I was commuting a lot by bus/train/bike and this was useful.I do not like biking with headphones on in Houston. The cars here are out to kill you, anyway, so why make it easy for them? I could hear my phone and music through the bag.

This bike phone holder is just what I was looking for. Fits my larger phone easily, has extra storage for my money/cards and is easily removable to use as a "purse" if we stop at a store. Zipper opens a full three sides (Schwinn version doesn't), for esay access to the interior. Rain shield is a huge plus. Well made and worth the purchase!

This works great in my bike. I am able to keep my phone right in front of me and change music easily while riding. The clear touchscreen part works great with my phone. I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max and it is in a pretty good size case and it fits well within this holder. The Velcro straps help hold it in place by the clear covering of the holder so the touchscreen works. I haven’t had to use the yellow cover to protect from rain, so I’m not sure how that works.In bright sun, I’m unable to see my phone screen thru the cover.I’m contemplating trying this on my jet ski to see if it fits. If it does, I’d be extremely happy.

The phone works perfectly inside and through the clear plastic and my iPhone 12 Pro + phone fits in there easily and quickly, even with a pop socket and case on. And it’s such a great feature that it comes off the base quickly and easily so you can take it in the store as a wallet.
