The book is exceptionally helpful for students who are totally new to programming. The language is very easy to understand. Anyone who has very basic knowledge and skills of science can understand this book. Programs, their algorithm and corresponding theory is given in detailed manner. It starts from the scratch and discusses many advanced topics like application in QM and Statistical Mechanics in a very easy and interesting way. Very much recommended for learners.

It is very good book for all the students who are want to learn Python. From Basic level to advance level are all included in this book. The languages are written very easy. So, It is awesome book.

A lot of terms are not included in the Index. A kind request to make this book better by adding to the index.A beautiful resource for the amateur scientist (physicist) to get their hands dirty with numerical methods and plotting techniques in Python 3. Codes are provided. Exercises are provided. It's a big demand, but I request Dr. Gupta to create and maintain a website accompanying the contents of this text. There's a scarcity (to put it mildly) of good Indian textbooks on computational physics using Python 3. This is a jewel for undergrads and postgrads alike.I'd even go further and encourage senior high school students with an interest for physics and computer simulations to refer to this textbook. They'll pick up a few useful skills by the time they graduate, and will be able to secure academic internships and summer projects easily by the time they are sophomores in college.

It is one of the best books for learning Python language. Way of explanation is very lucid and beautiful for undergraduate students .
