I love this bag. It's comfortable, looks nice (I bought green), has lots of pockets and is super light weight.Don't expect this pack to lug your kids schoolbooks, it won't hold up, but that's not really what it's marketed for. I bought this day pack as a secondary backpack to take out on day trips while on vacation and have since started using it on my daily hikes/bike rides. (about 1 month so far). I don't put a ton of stuff in it, but it was a huge upgrade from a drawstring bag I was using before.ProsIt is comfortable and light weight, which is great because it's hot outside. The chest strap was a nice bonus too. I never really used them before, but it definitely made long days hiking with the pack more comfortable.The zippers held up. This fact alone earns five stars. There are so many cheap bags with crappy zippers out there it's maddening. Again, don't expect to put a ton of weight in the bag - clearly not meant for that - but so far this bag has held up with regular use with light gear. The seams seem to be fine as well.Typically I put a 48oz metal water bottle, hat, wallet, keys, snacks, sunscreen and sometimes a laptop or umbrella in this bag. There's plenty of room to fit more, like a jacket of you wanted.ConsI do not like the side mesh pockets. It does not hold my thermos securely, but mine is supersized (48oz) so I don't know if a normal one would stay put. I feel like any thermos would just fall out if the pack isn't full. Theres not really any structure to the bag since it's a fold away bag, so I just throw it in the back or clip it to the top handle. It works fine that way, but beware if that's a deal breaker for you.There is also not any padding for electronics. Again, it's a foldaway bag, so I wouldn't expect any padding to be in there, but sometimes I wish there was when lugging a laptop, you'll need to put it in a soft case before putting it in the bag.Overall, I got it on sale for $25, which for me, is totally worth it. If you are looking for something lightweight and compact when you don't need it, this bag is a good choice. I've been using it daily for about a month & just had a look at the inside seams, etc and so far it's holding up. Again, I will say, don't overload it - that's clearly not what its meant for and I would expect it to rip or fail in some way, but for light weight items, it's good to go.

This backpack is great for trips of all sorts. Folds into a moderate sized pouch so can easily stuff it in a corner of your bag (6” x 7 1/2” x 4” which is still compressible—though a bit fiddly to get it there so much more likely to just lay it in the bottom of the suitcase empty, but large enough to pack several days worth of supplies if want to take off for several days without a big bag. It is a durable nylon pack cloth and well constructed with padded shoulder straps and chest strap. Would even consider using it for grocery shopping and able to pack a good load in it.Zippers all work and it has a multitude of pockets including space for 2 water bottles on the sides.Like the bright colors which make it easy to keep track of if you are in crowded areas or a big group.

First off, this is a great pack but the only part of it that is waterproof is the one plastic pocket. Otherwise, not waterproof at all. With that said I truly love this backpack. It’s small enough to carry all day through hikes and cities. It has good water bottle pockets that stretch but have a nice strap to keep larger bottles in places. The waterproof pocket against your back is a great place to store valuables you want away from weather and pickpockets, with another inside pocket for similar purposes. The multiple pockets and separate areas was great to haul snacks, personal items, extra layers, chargers, and still had room to add souvenirs, and anything else picked up during the day. Great deal and held up to everything and still going. I’m a big fan.

Bought for a cruise to have on water based excursions. Worked well as carryon with good capacity. Colorful and durable.

I purchased the TOMULE Day Hiking Backpack for an overseas ten day trip because it was lightweight but boasted tons of room. I was traveling on an airline that weighed carryons and charged an arm and a leg for checked bags so this was my only bag for my ten days abroad and I was able to fit everything I needed, with room to spare AND it was still comfortable to wear. Since bringing it on that trip I have also packed it on other trips to use as a day bag because it folds up so nice and small and takes up hardly any space or weight.In addition to its practical features, the backpack doesn't compromise on comfort. The padded straps and well-distributed weight make it easy to carry even for extended periods. The quality construction ensures that it withstands the rigors of outdoor activities while providing ample space for essentials. I especially like the back zipper compartment for keeping my travel documents safe and secure (away from wandering hands).In summary, the TOMULE Backpack has exceeded my expectations. Its foldable design, lightweight construction, and versatility make it a standout choice for those who prioritize convenience without compromising on quality and I highly recommended.

I bought this design and two others in different designs. All have held up well after several washing machine washes. The pack holds a lot stuff! There are pockets to organize items. The only drawback is that because the main compartment holds so much, things can get lost so I organize with ziplock bags. I still use this bag for travel by car, boat, train, and air. My daughter uses her bag almost daily.

This is the perfect backpack to carry to an amusement park or to take on a cruise. I love the color and all the pockets. It even has a dry pocket. It’s very functional and comfortable to wear.
