That did not work as the pressure was too high. The ends of both kist are Quick Detach so I just swapped them. The biggest thing you need to know is the Soda Stream bottles have a safety valve inside them that shuts off if you fill the bottles too fast. Filling it slowly is the key. I use a food scale to see that the bottle is getting heavier and also gauge how much CO2 I am putting in the bottle as it only holds 14.5 ounces of gas. Don't overfill it or the relief valve will pop rendering the bottle useless.

Q: Do you have to turn the gas off at the tank between uses or can you leave it on all the time?

I've had an instance when the tank leaked to empty. So I close the valve when I'm done using it.

Q: My Co2 tank has a siphon tube. Will this still work?

I use this with a siphon for a while. However I think it caused the gas to freeze and clog and break the infuser. I was going to kill my 10lb Tank and switch to a non- siphon tube one but guess I’ll have to do that sooner then I thought.

Q: I'm looking for a longer hose than the 5ft one which came with this kit. Any tips where to find a 10 ft hose?
