Super light in color, has no smell, don't bother
I am a very skeptical person so, I read a ton of reviews before purchasing. I saw mixed reviews on all of the 3 oils that I chose (Better Shea Butter, Teddie Organics, and Kate Blanc. The 365/Organic, I got at my local Whole Foods), so, I ordered them all to see for myself. I've ordered other products from Better Shea Butter that have worked out great and was disappointed at how their rosehip oil turned out. It's really light and has no smell. In my research on the oil itself, I read that the oil should have some type of nutty, flowery scent. So, that one is getting sent back. The other 3, are dark amber, the way that rosehip oil should be. The 365 one from whole foods smells the strongest and the Kate Blanc smells the least. I'm going to experiment with the 3 that I'm staying with just because so far, the only one I've been using is the Whole Foods one, and I want to make more comparisons. I plan to make some toners and whipped butters with the oils.

Glad I tried this
I read about rosehip oil while trying to find natural remedies for sun spots. I really enjoy this oil. You only need a little bit, it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy feel. It hasn't reduced my dark spots, but the little expression lines I was starting to get on my forehead have smoothed out and this gives such a beautiful glow to my skin (the glow reminds me of when I was a teenager, I'm turning 40 this year). Despite saying it is unscented but I do find there is a smell that reminds me of fish oil, but it dissipates quickly and doesn't linger. I store this in the fridge; not sure if that helps "keep" it, but I read that it should be stored this way. It has not changed the texture of the oil at all. Lastly, I have skin that freaks out at the sign of anything new, but my skin handled this well with no flare ups.

Healed chronic acne zone within a few days
I've been struggling with adult acne, hormonal in nature I presume, around my chin and the sides of my mouth. The bumps were deep and swollen, and usually took 3-4 weeks before totally healing. By that time I'd have 2 or 3 more spots to deal with. Never heard of rosehip seed oil before for skin, but after trying several different washes and acne treatments, I came across it. I'm a big fan of natural and herbal products, so it seemed harmless to try.One of the bumps had been reoccurring in the same place, week after week for about 6 weeks. I put a drop on that area before bed. Woke up to it being half the size and redness totally gone. Repeated a drop spread over it in the morning and then again that night. The second day the bump was already down completely and starting to actually heal. I began to use several drops all over my trouble spots and my whole face in general, morning and night. Within a week of using, nearly all of my bumps were completely gone and several weeks later I have a "glow" to my skin and its very smooth. It seems counterintuitive to use an oil on an oily zone, but it works like a charm.

I'm very happy with this rosehip oil! I've been in search of a quality rosehip oil for a while now since my go to has become unavailable. I've tried several Amazon brands including Teddies and Naissance. All had great reviews and touted deep rich quality oils, but I've been disappointed with each one being pale in color and watery in consistency. Better Shea brand is exactly what I was looking for in a rosehip oil. Deep color rich consistency. And the "smell" others seem to talk negatively about is on par for what rosehip should smell like... For the record, it SHOULD NOT smell like roses... This is a good quality oil and recommended. I'm very satisfied with this find.

It's all I need.
I can't believe that I have stumbled upon this oil. I saw Rosehip Oil mentioned in some publication, and ordered it that day. I use it for my face, neck, chest, and arms. While I regularly purchase high-dollar moisturizers, toners, and oils, I find I need only my Organic Rosehip Seed Oil, and my beauty regimen is complete. I have received compliments on my skin from colleagues without having changed anything else, and I find myself carting it to the shower, the tub, and the vanity. On a recent trip to Europe, although I spent most of the days outdoors, my skin was never a problem--and I was able to travel without a variety of creams, toners, lotions, and masques! Best find ever, especially for my middle-aged self!
