This was a fun read! Really enjoyed the characters and their story felt genuine. Their careers actually made sense as to why they would run into each other at the conference, so the plot didn't feel forced.I liked this friends to enemies to marriage of convenience to friends to lovers story 😂 It was a whirlwind of aunties and food and family and fun! Surprisingly their careers played a prominent role in this book and it was refreshing that they had lives outside of each other that didn't fall to the wayside in exchange for furthering the romantic plotline. Plus their extended families and found families all had distinctive characters who played significant roles and didn't just disappear once they had served their purpose. All in all definitely looking forward to reading more from this author 🙂

Great
Great book! Loved the story line and the character developments. Could’ve been okay without certain scenes but one of the scenes is important for the development of the story but the others would’ve been okay without but it’s just my preference. The book itself could’ve been in better condition but it wasn’t bad enough for me to want to send back. Just along the edges was kinda worn

Big Fan of This Series & the Author's Writing!
The Dating Plan by Sara Desai was a wonderful follow-up to The Marriage Game. I love the San Francisco-based Patel family and learning more about Indian culture through them. In this book, software engineer Daisy agrees to a faux engagement with her brother’s friend, Liam, who broke her heart by standing her up for prom a decade earlier. Their meet-again in the opening scenes of the book made me laugh so hard I almost fell off the treadmill! This book is a great blend of humor, pathos, and steam and I really enjoyed seeing Daisy and Liam’s relationship evolve and deepen over the course of several dates. There are some major twists and turns on the road to their happily ever after and the ending of the book is deeply satisfying. Gotta love a hero and heroine who not only overcome obstacles, but show tremendous amount of emotional growth in the process.Although The Dating Plan can easily be read as a standalone, it’s even more fun if you read the first book in the series because I was so happy to see characters like Max, Daisy’s emotional support dog, her cousin Layla, and her aunt Taara a.k.a. the creator of some truly vile mash-up dishes once again.Bring on Book 3, The Singles Table!

Cute but unforgettable
I liked this book at least I think I did. I just finished it and I don’t even remember what it was about. I did love all of the cultural references, it was very refreshing.

Heartwarming and Fun!
Loved every minute of this read. With Liam needing a wife to keep his brother from inheriting, and demolishing, his family’s distillery and Daisy just needing to keep her Aunties from ambushing her with random potential husbands, it was kismet that they run in to each other after 10 years apart and a lot of heartache between them. But things definitely heated up quickly for the two and I was committed to being dragged along for the ride!

I love Sara Desai’s books
Desai’s stories are romantic and spicy. They give insight to the wonderful world of Indian culture in a fun, engaging way that give white females like me insight to the Desi world. (Did I use that correctly??)Desai’s cast of characters are so real, entertaining and loving, you’ll wish they were a part of your family.
