I celebrated our first Valentine's day by buying a large heart-shaped box of chocolates for my new girlfriend - in 1954! I wanted to recall that day for her by buying another similar box of chocolates here in 2023 to celebrate our 70th Valentine's day together.The red box was only just okay and not nearly as fancy as the one in 1954. However, she has learned to be a very good taster of chocolates over the years and she found these Athony Thomas candies to be simply outstanding - great taste, great texture, and the chocolate itself was outstanding. This product worked out terrifically well. Many thanks to you, the A-T people.

These chocolates are a disaster. They arrived totally busted up and completely desiccated because of age and being left in the cold. I demanded a full refund. Amazon should not be selling them because they are clearly past their lifetime.

I love chocolate and so I obviously ordered his when I saw it was available. I didn’t realize until after I ordered that I guess this chocolate is made in Columbus, Ohio. I lived in Ohio for most of my life and I had never heard of this. I am, however, familiar with Esther Price which is also based in Ohio and so I will compare to that in this review.This is a small box of chocolates- only 5 pieces or 2 oz total. That is fine. It is nice to have the option of a smaller amount, but $9.99 for that amount is pretty steep. I can hop on the Esther Price website right now and get a 16oz mixed assortment box for $15.50 and I really like that chocolate.The box is a red cardboard heart- not great, not bad.Anyway, I was excited to try. I assumed it would be spectacular and that the price may be justified somehow, but honestly, it wasn’t that great. Just okay. Also, I want to meet the people that love the white cream filling inside their chocolate, because I am not a fan, and most of them are insanely too sweet- which is true in this case.Is this chocolate bad? Not really, but I wouldn’t order again. I’ll stick with what I know and love.Everyone has their own preference, so I’m sure a lot of people might like this. It just seems like a generic box of chocolate to me. It wasn’t memorable.I hope my review was helpful in some way, and if so, I would love to know- thanks!!!!

Nice heart shaped box inside protective white box to keep heart shaped box protected. Quality taste chocolates.

The chocolates were good but the heart box fell apart once I took it out of the delivery box, causing a mess. Had to tape it back together before giving it to my girlfriend.
