I bought a tractor that had a pre-drilled 12v cut out in the storage compartment, but no outlet. This charger is a solid unit, feels well made and I like that it will tell you the voltage (especially on something like my tractor). I used this wire here on Amazon: 18 Gauge Wire 2 Conductor,18 AWG Electrical Wire Stranded PVC Cord Oxygen-Free Copper Cable,26FT 2 Core Pure Copper Flexible Cable Wire for LED Lamp Lighting Strips Automotive (18AWG-2C, 26FT)...Which was perfect as it is heavy duty and my wiring was going to be exposed to the elements. I ended up using my own connectors as well. This unit fit perfectly in the 12v cut-out, and since the storage area gets very dusty, the rubber plug to cover the USB ports when not in use is perfect. I wired it to an aux fuse so it is only powered when the tractor is running. Now I can charge my phone and another device while on the tractor. Love it.

The media could not be loaded. Voltmeter is Accurate, can be turned on or off to ensure the battery doesn't drain excess unless needed. The ONLY bad thing, is the super cheap Fuse point. Still would recommend for someone that's looking for this type of thing.

it worked for a couple of weeks that was it, very upset. fuses are all OK, it just doesn't come on again, no other electric problem in vehicle. I have been working for 40 years on vehicles, so I know what I'm doing. the worst part the seller has no contact info, email???
