I think this mic is actually better than the original, it works well, really well, I thought it was messed up but then I noticed the mute slider was on, once I slid that back off, the sound was perfect. Now this mic is not pro quality but at this price it's worth it.

Makes a loud noise when plugged in.
The mic when plugged in made a seemingly loud noise like a air conditioner or an airplane was in the background when nothing in the room was on.

Mine was a bit too stiff. Needs to be right next to mouth for your voice to be picked up.
Not as good as the original. Mine was stiff and it needed to be right up next to my mouth or my voice would be too soft. I kept trying to bend it towards my mouth but it kept straightening back to its original position and today it stopped working. Might have been a QC issue and the wire was just pulled too tight causing it to stay straight. Oh well. It was cheap so not a bother.

Stopped working on 5th day
Mic doesn't stay still it falls on its own weight and on the 5th day randomly stopped working idk why people say it's better than the original
