Works better than I expected
With the mixed reviews I was somewhat skeptical but decided to give it a try with my five year old Karcher K 3.540 power washer. I wanted to clean about 350 square feet of paver patio and about 100 square feet of brick on the front porch floor. The paver patio was dirty and stained with lots of dirt and dead vegetation in-between the pavers. The brick porch was dirty with hundreds of dried earthworms from a previous windy rainstorm. I did not have any mildew or algae to deal with. The unit assembled easily and I only had to change the nozzle tips to the green set since my washer only puts out 1.5 gpm. One note when changing tips. They are keyed, so you need to rotate them until they press into place. If you don't have the key-way lined up, they won't fit. Took me a minute or two to figure that out. Once assembled and hooked up to the washer, everything was easy from that point onward. The power head glides easily over the surface and there is no splashing or blow back. You can see the results immediately and even with the flood of water, it is easy to see where you have cleaned. Some stubborn dirt took multiple passes to remove but it all came clean. I worked in sections and after each one I used the washers power wand to push all of the dirty water off the patio and into the grass. This also allowed me to work on any stuck vegetation between the pavers. Took roughly 90 minutes from setup to completion for the patio. The porch was even easier as the bricks were fully mortared with no vegetation to deal with. The bricks came clean, the mortar came clean, and overall it looked great. One interesting fact. The power wand alone had a tough time with the glued on earthworms. But the power head with its rotating nozzles was able to remove them with just one or two passes. Some have commented that their unit failed after a few uses. Time will tell if I see the same issue. But even if it only lasts for 3-4 cleanings, the money saved by not hiring a professional easily pays for the cost of a new unit. So even if I have to replace it every year or two, I still come out ahead cost wise. And the time saved using this device as opposed to just using the power wand with its two inch wide spray is icing on the cake.Very happy I purchased this!

WORKS GREAT
The media could not be loaded. I use this with my older K3 stand up pressure washer.MUCH better results than a wand. The is much easier to get VERY even results, with just a little patience. The wand was tricky to get a completely even finish without any stripes and made a HUGE mess blowing water and trash everywhere. This throws ZERO water... you won't get wet at all using it. You have to go REALLY slow, or overlap your passes by roughly 1/2 to get a smooth finish... but its flawless. The head really doesn't like to be pushed away from you... it snags/skids on the concrete, so hard to control speed. I simply did every pass pulling towards me so it would slide effortlessly. This also works better to work in a down hill direction anyways, to help clear the loose dirt.I HATE when pressure washer strip the top of the concrete off leaving all the pebbles exposed... so I did mine on the lowest pressure setting (soft / wood). This might be why i needed to overlap passes, but I'm ok with that. Also might be why the unit "dragged" a little when pushing away. Higher pressure would have possibly created more lift for a smoother glide.I've done the sidewalks for a 60ft lot and a 3car garage driveway. I broke it up, wasn't in a rush, took water breaks, had to switch to different hoses/extension cords, and took ~6.5hrs.Also did a 10x10 patio. This does work much better when the ground is slopped to get some run off... its just easier to see whats still dirty. On a flat surface, you have to "clear out" the standing water/dirt every couple passes to make sure you got everything. The break down is nice to fit back into a small box for storage.Added bonus, these extension pieces can be used to extend the wand for taller people, or to reach higher.VIDEO: Shows that its more difficult to push than pull, also shows that going a little too fast leaves light striping, and going WAY too fast leaves it looking like a spirograph of clean swirls.
