Full Sound with Acoustic-Electric Guitar
I play an acoustic-electric guitar in a band but did not want to spend another hundred dollars on yet another pedal (I also play electric and have a pedals galore). But my guitar sounded a little thin in the mix and I knew a chorus pedal was what I needed. When searching for a chorus pedal I naturally sought out the best - the Boss pedals. But then I noticed Amazon's What-Others-Viewed and saw this Mooer pedal for a lot less. I then researched the heck out of it and decided to give it a try. With Amazon Prime, I got the pedal in two days, plenty of time before the next performance. It did exactly what I wanted it to in broadening the sound of the guitar.I've played a few of the Boss chorus pedals over the years and can honestly say that the Mooer Ensemble King is just as good and a lot cheaper! (It's a lot smaller too for the pedal board!) It's also built like a tank!I highly recommend it!

Great value for a shimmery, nice chorus
My experience (and other people) tell me that I am way pickier than most people about little details. When I started shopping for a chorus pedal I had no idea just how picky I could be. I am still on the hunt. This attractive, little chorus pedal did not satisfy my soul's desire for a chorus sound. That said, I think it would satisfy a great deal of people's needs, especially if you're wanting to spend under $100.It has a really nice sound. It's kind of warm. I would not call it lush. It's more of a shimmer with a balanced, slightly bright tone. Definitely would work for a lot of music, but not mine. To my ears, this pedal does not sound watery or muddy. It sounds bright in a kind of pleasant way... almost like a digital pedal, strangely, and you can't change tone (within the pedal).I can see why some reviewers have been impressed. The true bypass is great. I wish MXR choruses were true bypass. Maybe if it were re-capped the tone would please me, but in a box this size there's no way I would try doing that. As it comes, it's just a bit too edgy for me, but again... it's probably less edgy than a lot of chorus pedals. It does not sound bad. Let's just say that.I like that the big white "Rate" knob is the primary emphasis. I like that there is a level knob. It's very nice to be able to pull back the chorused sound.I do not like that there are no marks on the knobs for the level and depth. If I kept this pedal, I would paint some on.My pedal was shipped pretty much instantly by KDM and arrived within days. Very cool. I would like to buy from them again.

I Love it!
I was looking for a micro pedal that would help improve my overall tone. This pedal gives a little chorus that I can leave on all the time for everything. I have it set on a low setting that gives my sound a little more thickness, warmth and color. It seems to be built solid. The price is right as well. I recommend this pedal.

Power input broke
I’ve only had this pedal for about a year and it sits on a pedal board where it doesn’t move, yet somehow the plastic piece that holds the power input in place cracked in half which must mean it came fractured - I enjoyed the pedal until this occurred although it also clicks when turned on and off sometimes. Other pedals don’t have this issue. I have a fancy power supply that should eliminate issues like this on the power end. Bummed!

awesome!
I first bought the Joyo chorus pedal, but that thing is garbage. I bought this one next, figuring that at twice the price, it must be better. I was right. This pedal, unlike the Joyo, can be set to be very transparent. That's all I was looking to do, was have a chorus that very lightly colored my sound and give it a subtle shimmer. Obviously, this thing can be cranked up to give a more obvious and full-bodied chorus effect, and that it does well. Fantastic pedal!

Decent for the money
The first one I received was dead on arrival. there was no "effect" on the sound. It was returned, my second one works perfectly. It's a decent little course for the money.

Great buy
Purchased this pedal as it is a clone of more expensive pedals and I had a gift card to Amazon. For the money, it's great. I use it to get some chorus sounds of the 80s and also some of the tone of more modern bands such as Title Fight. Would recommend the purchase to anyone considering it!
