Really happy with this item, it's well made and fits well.The light bracket does cause the light to block the number plate and its not sitting straight for the road users to see behind you.I had to bend the mount to fit.And the other issues is the light for the number plate is not there ?So mot fail

You can just bolt it on but it won't last a long time , needs work to last
I gave it 4 stars. It's about what you would expect for the money. The outside housing is metal as is the bracket and plate holder. The LED running light is kinda dim the brake light is average. The lights both use the same LEDS so there isn't a huge change between running a brake light. I would say not as good as a regular incandescent bulb. The LEDS setup is made from the the old incandescent set up the bulb holder is flipped around and the LED PCB is attached w screws to the reflector of the old bulb. It's not that robust, I can see how the one reviewer said his vibrated apart. The wires have no strain relief and the whole assembly is not very weatherproof. Why did I give it 4 stars? I converted it back to incandescent, weather proofed it and addressed the other issues now it's a nice looking metal housing light that's clearly visible and works well. So for the price 4 stars, I didn't expect it to be a high quality unit and it's not but with some effort it's a good unit. I am happy w mine and i would buy it again. I did modify it to make it what i wanted.

Plate mounting holes are not universal
Made of sturdy steel, does not vibrate once installed. Comes with all necessary hardware, would have liked to see 4 more bolts/nuts to match mounting the license plate.I am locating in Ontario, Canada and had to drill the mounting plate to match my license plates template since all of the holes were vastly off.Not very bright light.If you have an older motorcycle, you will need an LED blinker relay, otherwise it won't respond to brake lever input in the way a dual-filament bulb would.
