Soundstream AR1.4500D Arachnid Series 4500W Class D Monoblock Amplifier

What can I say it's a Soundstream.Its a solid amp.Soundstream always has been this is not my first however it is the lowest priced Soundstream I've ever seen and with a thundering power. I also really liked the wire connections no more dealing with stupid crimp on connectors just Jam the wire in and screw it tight

Awesome amp I tellya, sounds good and clean. I mean I just love the thing. I've had it for 2 months, maybe.Well, why'd you give it 1 star??After 45 days of use I decided to upgrade my subs. The subwoofer upgrade allowed me to run the amp at 1 ohm, I've only had a 2 ohm load for it until recently. Believe it or not, at 1 ohm the amp starts shorting out. it was the most terrible thing. I am not a rookie to car audio, did several tests and sub swaps to confirm this. everytime the amp see's a 1ohm load it gets hot and sends a distorted signal to my sub(s).Junk!! I really just wanted my money back, but it's too late for that I guess.

Lasted 1 year Hooked up to 1 12 at 500watts. Definantly not pleased and would like a trade in or my money back. Every time the bass hits even at the lowest gain setting, it turns off. Will change my rating when i get a new amp or my money.
