Rust-Oleum245217 Universal All Surface Spray Paint, 12 Oz, Hammered Black

Great paint, used for spray bombing our tub surround, was an old outdated yellow plastic, is now a hammered black awesome surround. Super strong smell tho, so if you can take your project outside Needed to buy more 3 more cans to finish the surround, found exact same product at my local Home Depot for 1/2 price. Kinda sour about that.

I'm a DIY dummy, but after watching a video produced by Rustoleum on YouTube, I felt brave enough to paint our 70-year old wrought iron porch rail.I'm pretty pleased with the results! It didn't take a lot of effort at all. We roughed it up with sandpaper, cleaned it, and then sprayed it with this stuff. I figured even if it was terrible, at this price it was worth a try. We were able to cover up some minor rust and flaking in the process.It's been a few weeks and I'm noticing a few spots that need to be touched up or that we missed on the first go-round, but all-in-all I'm happy with the results and I would use Rustoleum Universal again.

Disappointing how it is marketed as black but it comes out as gun metal color, more on the silver side... If you want black stay away from this choice.

Really I'm overall pleased with this spray paint and how it left a nice shiny black. My only gripe is that the spraying mechanism is serviceable but does end up spurting out blobs here and there. So if you painting something and you need high consistency to get really even coat, this isn't great but I'd imagine most people wouldn't be using this for such detailed jobs.

Ordered Black hammered, the canister says Black... but its charcoal gray. I even painted something black BEFORE painting the hammered on and it's still charcoal. Very disappointed. Not worth returning but beware buying paint on this site. This is the second time I've ordered a color and the actual paint is shades off of what it should be.
