Works as advertised
I have a door double-sided door in my primary bedroom. It has a skylight above the panels. While this is a beautiful feature, it lets in way too much light when I am trying to sleep. I was not ready to make a decision a long-term window treatment, so I bought this to block out the light. I opted for the white one, so that I didn't damage the window. The install was pretty easy, it was thick, and cutting was no problem. Once installed, it stayed up, even with the sun beating down on it most of the day. I have since put up curtains and removed this item, but since it's reusable, I have it packed away. To be honest, I should have purchased a second one for the skylights of my front door instead of the item I did buy, cut, but never used.I can't speak for how this holds up long-term, as I only had this on my window for about 3 months, but I will buy this again if the need arises. I also haven't tried to reuse it, but I am pretty sure there will be no problems. You just mix the solution of water and dishwashing liquid, spray, squeegee, and you are good.

Great product and easy-ish to install
I’m starting back on night shift and didn’t want black film to make my room seem like a cave. Love the white on both sides-it’s not noticeable from the street-just looks like I have curtains up. There is a tiny sliver of light visible around the edges, but with the shades down there’s no visible light at all-I took this photo on a sunny day. The room already feels cooler, and a bonus is that it also seems to block some of the street noise. As far as the installation, I followed the instructions closely and used lots of spray to wet the window and the film. And a few times I had to readjust the film so I used more spray.I used an old plastic gift card to push the film into the creases, and then I cut on top of the card instead of directly on the glass or the seal that goes around the glass. If there are any issues after a few weeks I’ll update the review.

It works
My room is super bright and super hot in the morning. It blocks lights for sure but the patch started to peel off after a week or so. Also it doesn’t cool down any temperatures so if you are looking for something to cool down your room temperature, this is not it. If you need to block the lights, that’s the one.

What a difference!
The vinyl is thick and easy to work with. My half round had tint that was probably 20 years old. The glue was hard as a rock and the amount of heat from the half round was almost unbearable. I scraped the old tint with a scraper 1st. Then I cleaned the win with a little mild soap and water. I cut the vinyl close to the size I needed, then taped it in place. With the backer still on, I sprayed the window with the water soap solution and cut it to fit. The vinyl was placed where it needed to be. Then I peeled the backer, sprayed more solution and started working it with a plastic card squeegee for windows. When I tell you it drastically reduces the heat from the window to nothing l, I mean it. My bedroom was so hot even with the tint and we used a piece of cardboard. It was always hot and stuffy and the AC ran constantly. Not anymore. The outside and inside if the vinyl is white, amd attractive. You cant even tell on the outside it's there. Then I placed a paper fan cover (cut to fit) amd I couldn't be happier with the results. It's dead summer and my room is cool as it should be. 5 stars. Just be sure to clean the window well and use water with just a touch of soap. If you are afraid of your cut, just get Christmas wrapping paper amd cut it to fit. This way mistakes can be fixed, transfer it to the vinyl backer with a pen, then cut it..that may be easier.

They have helped bring peace to my home !
After recent construction my dogs are now on high alert for anything or anyone out my front windows. Have tried other things without results. These were easy to install and have held up great . Since they are white and you cannot see thru them they have helped calm my dogs and everyone’s sanity ! Plus they do not look bad from outside .

Great for your window or door
We have a door that brings in too much light. Bought this to use until we found a solution. This sticks like Colorforms ( if you know what that is) or like the reusable stickers you decorate windows with. It works very well and can be peeled off and reapplied easily. Recommend if this is something you need.

Great product, but has toxic smell
Placed item in my baby’s room. Does what it’s supposed to and fully blocks out light beautifully. It’s also easy to apply. However removing two stars for nauseating toxic smell that comes off the vinyl. It gave me a headache. I will revise my review if the smell goes away (we applied it yesterday)
