Q: Wil it fit on a 2004 Ford Ranger truck?

I have these currently on a 2004 Ford ranger fx4 level 2 that came stock with bilsteins. I think the shocks are different sizes for other models.

Q: Will these work for an 04 ranger xlt fx4?

Mine is a 06 fx4 level 2. Works on mine. Get the # off the shock and call Napa or see if the shock they recommend is the same.

Q: is this to replace original stock/height shocks with no lift?

Correct. I replaced my original rear shocks (2001 Ford Ranger XLT) with these Bilstein 24-188258. No lift change from the originals.
