Very pleased with the set. Excellent quality and value for money. All pieces arrived in perfect condition. The set was extremely well packaged individually in sets of bowls and plates and the packaging was tightly held together with plastic fastenings. The outer box was very strong and labelled clearly with Fragile. Having seen other reviews where items arrived broken I was nervous, hence my detail about the condition in which the set arrived. I couldn’t fault it! The set has already been through the dishwasher without any problem, although fortunately the dishwasher has large and small slots as the plates are deeper than my old plates and no longer fit the narrower slots.

Really nice, solid dinner set, as you’d expect from Denby. Fits into my cupboard, which was a concern, as so many plates nowadays are huge - these are 26cm and fit in my cupboard fine.

I have the whole set of the Denby Elements Fossil Grey dinnerware.It’s a great quality set which has a good weight/thickness to all the items.The fossil grey is on the outside with a lighter colour on the inside.Everything comes wrapped individually and is packaged well so nothing was broken. It did take me quite a while to unpack everything and take the two stickers off each items (I got enough sets for 8 people)The whole set is a good size, the smaller/side plate is a really good size. I use it for smaller portioned dinners as well as things such as toast or cakes.The dinner plate is a larger version and I like that they both have a raised edge as it stops those awkward spills when chasing food around the plate!The bowls are good as they are deep with high sides, so are perfect for cereals, soups etc.The other winning thing to mention is that the whole set is both dishwasher and microwave safe. I’ve put mine in both regularly since getting them and they are still perfect.Amazon also had the best price that I have found for this dinnerware. It is pricey but you get what you pay for and this is well worth it.

I, like other reviewers, assumed this was a four place setting when it is in fact 1 setting consisting of 4 pieces. The fact that the 12 piece set is highlighted in the description doesn’t help…..Looks good quality but giving it one star based on value for money. The 4 place set is currently on Amazon for around £92, based on that this set should be nearer £25.I would have considered the 4 place set but I’m only buying this for the office kitchen and can’t justify the price.Have returned for refund and will be getting an Amazon basics 6 place set for around the same money.
