The real deal. Heirloom grade.
This unit is the real deal, built to outlast me, I am sure my kids and grandkids will inherit this tool someday.I had been using a cheap inflator that came in a pack of accessories from one of the big name national home repair stores, the gauge was junk and was dangerously unpredictable, so I was forced to swap between inflator, and separate gauge. Enough was enough. First thing I noticed when using the new Milton unit is how fast the pressure increased on the tire. Interesting to note the cheaper inflator has small diameter internals which restricted airflow, the Milton unit does not. Simple physics for smart people, a major discovery for me, and a huge time saver. The chuck stays attached to the valve stem and maintains good seal. The orange hose is long enough I can stand up and operate the inflator, saving my knees.Value = Benefit - Price. This unit delivers value, not only in quality, but you will save time, and save wear & tear on your knees.

Glad I didn't pass due to other's bad reviews. Excellent tool.
I was hesitant at first to purchase because of some of the reviews. I did lots of research to find a commercial quality tire inflator of similar style to this, and this one seemed to fit my particular needs. I'm extremely impressed by the quality of this tool. The gauge is spot on with other gauges I have. The chuck goes on easily and stays latched without ANY air leaks, however this is a short term review at this time. The air is put in the tire fast. It is difficult to inflate the tires on the rear of my dually with the straight chuck, but it is possible, and that's not the tools fault as it not designed for that particular application. I would absolutely recommend this product.

Works as advertised. Well made quality product.
Expensive but worth it. The straight clip on tip allows my wife and kid to put air in tires without having to wrangle a regular air chuck and try to hold it straight on the valve stem while getting a reading.

Great piece of equipment, heavy duty.
I've replaced the inflator gauge that came with my ARB compressor with this one, I had thought I had a nice inflator gauge but it is nothing compared to this Milton 518. Heavy duty and meant to last.I've got 37" tires and regularly air down to 5psi so having the longer hose makes life tons better now that I don't have to bend over or squat for 5 minutes a tire. My testing shows the gauge is accurate when compared to others.Seeing some complaints about the chuck, all chucks have this issue when they only have one side that locks onto the schrader valve. For best use, lock it on keeping the locking mechanism away from you and the weight will hold the other side. Or if you don't like the chuck there are some that clamp both sides, it'll unscrew easy enough to replace.

Accurate, but some minor things
Build and accuracy are good. I checked it with another meter that I trust. The clamp is "ok," but a little wonky and if nudged a little will leak. The display seems upside down when filling up tires because of the way it monitors the pressure coming from the tire. You just have to turn your brain upside down to compensate. The bleed valve also seems to be on the wrong side almost requiring two handed operation. One other nit is that the rubber hose has no protection sleeve where it enters the steel housing. The hose seemed to be getting an impression from the edge of the handle which, I suspect will eventually lead to a cut and ultimate failure. For the money, this is a good item regardless of the myriad design oddities. I am not really complaining as I like this fill valve. I'm just saying...

Good quality chuck with accurate pressure gauge
I bought this to replace my Milton Dual head straight chuck (similar to a S693) that I have had for probably 20+ years. Not that my old chuck failed but that I am getting older and bending down is not as easy as it used to be.Anyway, the new chuck (Milton 518) works flawlessly and the pressure gauge appears to be accurate to within 1#. when I test it against 3 other handheld pressure gauges. The extension hose is just the right length to reach a stem in any position while still allowing me to stand upright (I'm 5'10").

Finally found it
I have been looking for one of these for ages but they are so expensive. This one was within my price range and works great. I can tell you that airing up the 22" tires on my motorhome is terrifying with a regular inflator. If there is a catastrophic failure of the tire then you are within the danger zone. With this inflator I can check tire pressure and perform top-ups with ease, comfort and confidence that I am safe from rapid unscheduled deconstruction events. I use it on all my trailers, vehicles and mowers.

Total crap
Update- This company never contacted me back. Utterly ignored me and my issues with their product. It’s been over a year. Buyer beware. What you think is quality is not. I’d rather buy six cheap inflators than one of these.Bought six months ago. Worked great. Then it started blowing all of the air through the silver hole on the handle. Reached out to Milton. No response. Nothing. I bought a new valve for it, thinking this might be the problem. But no, same problem. This was a seventy two dollar purchase. So very disappointed. Thanks Milton. Your customer service is horrible. What a waste of time and money.

Milton Air chuck
Works great! Stays latched, high-flow, accurate gauge. Seems like I could run it over & it wouldn’t hurt it (I won’t test that theory).

An excellent tool for airing up high pressure tires.
Very well made and convenient to use. Built in gauge seems accurate when compared with my Milton tire pressure gauge. The air bleed button is a nice feature if you happen to overpressure while inflating...you can release some air by pressing the button, without having to disconnect the chuck. The 5 foot hose is nice to have when airing up high pressure tires since you can stand off to the side, out of harms way while inflating the tire.

But works well all in all , just doesn't work for gauge reading.
It doesn't work without air-hose attached when I use it just for gauge-reading.

Leaks
Air leaks where the factory installed hose meets gage. Other than that works fine after I got it sealed up
