This "frog" is more for a dagger on a small belt.
I served in the Marines and this type of device is called a "frog". In this case I am (was) going to use it for some Viking / Scotch dress. The belt shown (not included with the frog is 2.25 inches wide, while the throat of the belt loops are only wide enough fo maybe a 2 inch wide belt or even as narrow as 1.75 (probably much better ). Also, the actual scabbard holder must be tightly laced (included and the leather surround will not take all scabbard sizes - but probably most. Frog is riveted with bright d-rings and lace up for the actual leather to grasp the scabbard. Overall, a nice piece - BUT beware, that Viking or Scottish belt is not going to thread through the leather loops unless you take it down, remove the rivets and have that redone.

works great
I have a smaller scabbard, only a little more than 1 inch around, I had to readjust the strap to make it accommodate a smaller diameter. But that took me like 5 min. I like the two belt loops design.

Functional But Delicate
Just got this in for Halloween. Immediately attached it to a belt and put a decorative saber in it - worked. But when I went to tighten it the leather string snapped. Will likely use twin instead as it should still function but buyer beware! Otherwise looks and functions ok.

Great Product
Survived 8 weekends of abuse at a renaissance festival completely unscathed.

NOT "Full Grain Leather" as described
This item is definitely NOT "Full Grain Leather" as described. It smells like plastic and you can distinctly see the textile backer or middle layer along the cut edges.
